They waited to concede 3ce b4 half time b4 they woke up terrible display by Rivers
Their touches were awful and hold up play was nowhere

BascoVanVeli:

That is very far from the truth. Outside the 5 minutes of madness when they conceded 3 goals Rivers United were the better team. Everything about them was good apart from their finishing. They created way more chances and if not for poor finishing this could easily have been a draw.

Eight goals in his last six Serie A games.

No one in Europe's top five leagues has scored more in 2023 than Victor Osimhen.

Nine straight home league wins.

Napoli's longest run since 1989-90, which is the last time they won the league ⏳

Victor Osimhen is the first Napoli player to score in six straight Serie A games since Gonzalo Higuain in 2015/16.

17 goals in 18 games this season 🔥

I wonder what these guys are talking. The goal was totally Bernardo Silva's fault. He lost the ball at a delicate place.

The only things that can stop him are injuries and CAF bias ..
But then, CAF have already given out the 2022 player of the year award to Mane.... The 2023 award may take place late this year and by then, all this Morocco achievement won't be sufficient for their players to be considered frontrunners for the award

Ake just like Akanji are overhyped and they are the reason man city aren’t top of the table this season.

Let Diaz starts pairing Laporte or Stones again and watch if Man City won’t win their next 5 or more matches conceding minimal goals in the process

What exactly is the NFFs plan for the forthcoming Olympics? It is about a year away.

Nigeria interestingly has a large crop of players that could potentially repeat the 1996 glory days. We just need to be intentional and sell same vision to the players to get on board.

Just off the top of my head I can think of the following players:

Arthur Okonkwo 21yrs
Gift Orban 20yrs
Sam Edozie 20yrs
Destiny Udogie 20yrs
Folarin Balogun 21 yrs
Noni Madueke. 20 yes
Carney Chukwuemwka 19 yrs
Michael Olise 21yrs
Ebenezer Akinsomiro 18 yes
Yira Sor 22yrs
Moses usor. 21yrs
Victor Boniface 22yrs
Raphael Onyedika. 21yrs

Of course players like Osimhen can join the list as one of the 3 overaged players and captain of the team and maybe even captain the team.

I pretty sure there are a lot more players than one could include in the list above. Point is, Nigeria potentially could win the Olympics again with proper planning and selling the vision to some of these folks.

Laporte is easily their best CB ,he hasn’t been playing since he recovered from injury

To be honest ake has been decent this season
