Hello peeps!..good evening
There has been a nagging question i have asking,but have'nt gotten an answer.
The question is,if God only created Adam and Eve,and they in turn begat Caine and Abel,who begot every other person on earth as at then.we are told that after God cast Caine out of His presence,he became a wanderer and eventually got a wife and married her(Gen.5 vs 17).
Where did this wife of Caine come from?
Did God created other people after Adam and Eve?
Why was it not recorded in d Bible?
Is the compilation of the Bible even complete?

Same thing I've been pondering for years.
It's obvious some people have been in existence before or about the same time as Adam and Eve. Perhaps Africans? Lol
Adam mean Red earth. So he might not necessary be the progenitor of the black race.
Who knows? undecided

Abeg someone should provide a very logical answers.

do you really think 930years literarily means nine hundred and thirty years on the gregorian calendar? If you do, then you really must be as ignorant as you sound. The Bible compounded the mystery by placing a curse on anyone who kills cain after he started wandering the world. Which people was the bible envisaging will kill cain?

(1) Eve was “the mother of everyone living.”
(2) Time elapsed between the birth of Cain and his offering the sacrifice that was rejected by God.
(3) Following his banishment to become “a wanderer and a fugitive,” Cain worried that ‘anyone finding him’ might try to kill him.
(4) God set up a sign to protect Cain, indicating that either his siblings or other relatives might try to kill him.
(5) “Afterward,” Cain had intercourse with his wife in “the land of Fugitiveness.”—Genesis 3:20; 4:3, 12, 14-17.

From the above, we can rightly conclude that Cain’s wife was a descendant of Eve born on an unknown date. Genesis 5:4 acknowledges that during his 930 years of life, Adam “became father to sons and daughters.” Of course, the Bible does not specify that Cain’s wife was Eve’s daughter. Indeed, the fact that she is mentioned after Cain’s banishment indicates that enough time had passed that she could even have been one of Adam and Eve’s granddaughters. Hence, The Amplified Old Testament describes Cain’s wife simply as “one of Adam’s offspring.”
Nineteenth-century Bible commentator Adam Clarke speculated that God’s establishing a sign as a result of Cain’s fear came about because several generations of Adam’s descendants already existed—enough “to found several villages.”
That Cain married his sister or a later female descendant of Adam through the marriage of any of Adam’s sons or daughters is viewed by some societies today as unthinkable. This is usually because of societal taboos or fear of genetic defects. Nevertheless, F. LaGard Smith comments in The Narrated Bible in Chronological Order: “It is altogether likely that these first brothers and sisters enter into marriages with each other, despite the sense of inappropriateness which would be felt should that occur in following generations.” Also, it is noteworthy that it was not until Moses received God’s laws for the nation of Israel in 1513 B.C.E. that intercourse between such close relatives was specifically forbidden.—Leviticus 18:9, 17, 24.
Today, we are millenniums away from the perfection once possessed by our original parents. The effect that genetics and heredity have on us might not have been a factor for them. Furthermore, recent studies, such as one published in the Journal of Genetic Counseling, show that unions between first cousins face lower risks of having children with birth defects than is widely perceived. Reasonably, such issues would not have been a serious concern during Adam’s life span or even prior to Noah’s day. Thus, we can conclude that Cain’s wife was one of his female relatives.

Blasphemy!!!!!!!Blasphemy!!!!!!!!!...... The God of the old testament would have flooded the earth or rained down fire on the earth killing everyone or killed all first born children (innocent and guilty) BUT we are lucky He his a changed God and has decided to take the path of mercy rather than murder grin

Its just a story and no story is bad. You can chose to believe fairy tales. There is no God in religious context but there is God as Source of All. We do not have soul, we are soul, we have a body. So we are primarily photons of God with earthly body just here to experience earth, our creation.

plantz, animalz, rocks, sun, moon every planets are all sparks of God spiralled into space.

Over the eons, plantz are cross-bred, animals of different species mate, monkeys are fuccked by baboons when ho.rny without their species. Human species were formed in a cross-breeding of neanderthals with other species of homo erectus. The original specie of humans are resident in central africa, asians are massively products of mating with neaderthals. Thanks for that, our species was able to survive the diseases that regular species cant.

Today, some human race are more evolved than others and the creator force programmed hierarchy of dimension of existence. we are not just made of earth and doomed at death. We are primarily souls with earth body also existing in ethereal body, causal body, mental body, psychic body, soul body at same time and each of these bodies are tuned on the frequencies of each dimension but our consciously during active day is modulated by the brain so we feel physical environment but aylt night when consciouaness shifts to ethereal body we call it dream. it is actually our existence at other planes cos our brain transfers consciousness during sleep. we exist in different dimensions all at the same time but our consciousness defines if we are in physical plane, dream or causal or at soul plane. folks, we are looking at creation as a matrix of some sort an entire hologram with multiple existences. string theory in physics explains further. God is us and we are God...we created this earth and other planets and we are here to experience our creation while still recreating it building houses etc. Earth is even an electro magnetic grid
Got to stop here, I got a new baby to create with my wife.

Okay, lets reason together. You see, it is not everything that's recorded in the bible, i.e, the day to day activities of bible's characters. This style of writing is not only common in the bible, but also in the literatures of the world. Why? Here, "Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were EVERY ONE of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written"- John 21:25. That's it! If the world itself cannot contain just Jesus ministry alone, how much more detailing every thing about creation?

Now, the point I'm trying to make is this. In Genesis 4:1, Cain is born. The very next verse, Abel is born too. The point: after Cain was born, definitely, a lot of time has passed before Abel was born! Also note that it is in verse 1 that Adam knew his wife, and it is still in that verse that she bare Cain. So at least you should know that nine months has passed since Adam knew his wife before she bare Cain!

Coming down to verse 14, certainly, a lot of years has passed before Cain slew his brother, judging from the fact that one was a farmer and the other, a shepherd. That means they were adults who could take responsibilities!

So, it is very much possible and likely that at this stage of their lives, their parents may have already produce other children in order to be "fruitful and multiply". I hope this helps?

Adam and Eve had eight sets of twins, each set with one boy and one girl.

Allah commanded they cross-marry, the last set marrying the first set. Cain didn't want his brother Abel to marry his own beautiful twin sister, saying he would be the one to marry her instead. This was the reason he killed Abel and he later married his own twin sister.

Islam details the account without missing anything.
