Hello people Just hit another road block and need help.
I have a first degree in Engineering but I have worked as a Tax Analyst with a big four audit firm for the past 3 years and I know my noc is 1111.
The problem is, I have looked at employment requirements(*attached) for me to be eligible under this noc and i don’t have these qualifications listed. Hence it’s difficult to answer the question
“* Date “Mr Nairalander Needs Help” first became qualified to practice in this occupation”
Please before we ask that I read through previous threads I’ve read through similar issues but mine seems unique as the others most often have an accounting or finance degree or prof. qualification.
Anyone with valid references can point me to where to research, alternatively if you have an answer kindly assist........
Thank You

Estac: It's even more advantageous for you to use USA as your residence because US residents tend to get ppr faster. Just check immitracker. Thank you, I appreciate your response and reference. |

Hello Peeps
Please while completing my express entry profile I am required to state country of residence. I am currently in the US on F1 visa. Will USA be my country of residence or it’s Nigeria. My prior understanding of “country of residence” is where I’m from. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks |

The delay is from Unilag don't be deceived. The staff generally have lackadaisical attitude and believe they are doing you a favor. I will advice whoever needs his verification done to call the school, have them confirm that they have seen it i.e received WES' email. Upon confirmation create time to visit them on the approved days and go and sit there till its done. Otherwise, it is very possible that you will still be waiting for verification by January 2019. It is either the unit is understaffed, the staff are lazy or they do not understand the importance of some of these things. Why can't they not have a definite timeline for processing transcripts regardless of how many requests they have at any point in time? But if I am willing to grease the palms of some random officer, the transcript gets sent or verified in good time. It's a pity I am out of the country for now, I will have scattered that their office as I have done in the past. Funny people verified Diploma and forgot to verify BSc....possibly because one staff was eating fufu while responding to email, three 440 draws later and I'm still waiting for verification. If you're a unilag staff reading this please print it and drop on your registrars table. Nah only money unah know !!!!!! efueh: It is almost obvious to me that the customer service guys give generic information on this subject matter. As one clearly told me today that they don't have access to the mail box where schools reply to, so they can only confirm school mails when the evaluators had reviewed the mails and updated candidates profile before they can give callers update in that regards. So I guess they have backlogs to deal with or they changed their mode of operations, hence the delays. Meanwhile, I suggest we just keep our fingers crossed and see how it goes next week, before asking school to resend. This is abnormality is becoming the new normal for them. |

Check out Canadian express entry. That's your best bet for immigration. ItzChinnex: When I finish my M.s in Germany, can I move over(migrate) to Canada/US?
Would love a country that its language is based solely on English.

Thank you, I have sent an email to the school. God bless you... LagosismyHome: if you cant enter, then the school has to either give you a formal extension by letter or a new i20............ if not , the rule is you have to be in the US on or before the start date listed on your i20. after that date , you can be denied entry to POE |

4peace4: Bros you got your visa and you didn't bother posting your transcript or a simple "visa approved today" then you are here asking yamahyamah question hope you know thunder! is real? I’ve not gotten the visa, it’s on AP. If you don’t have an answer please let people who do respond. This is the same attitude I got that I totally avoided coming here. As soon as I pick up my Visa I will share my transcript. That real thunder that you believe in will strike those that believe in it when they have wronged it. |

I tap into this grace.... Congratulations Osiokoye: I was interviewed in Abuja on 23rd of July. I was placed on AP and my visa was issued yesterday. My interview was very different even after I was well prepared and even took GRE and TOEFL, did consultation at EducationUSA and came on Nairaland for assistance. I have been denied USA B1/B2 visa twice in 2016. Here is my transcript; VO: Hi good morning, how are you? ME: Good morning, I’m good. VO: Pass me your passport; I can see you’re going for a student visa. Pass your I-20 too. ME: I did VO: Why are you going to the USA? ME: I’m going to Northwest Missouri state university to study masters in Agriculture. VO: What do you intend doing after graduation? ME: I intend working for a reputable agricultural organization such as (He cut me short) VO: What University did you go to for your undergraduate degree? ME: **** VO: Who sponsored you? ME: My dad VO: Who is sponsoring you for your masters? ME: My dad VO: Do you have his account statement with you? If you do, pass it to me. ME: I did and said it was printed last month because my dad and mum travelled to USA and Canada few weeks ago. VO: Oh, You only have a little over 12million in this account ME: (In my mind; Stop shouting my daddy’s balance now. lol) I said Yes, it is because he traveled but it’s not a problem. VO: Where are your siblings? ME: One in Nigeria, one in Canada and one in the USA VO: Who is in the USA and what does he do? ME: My brother, he is a student. VO: Okay, how will your daddy cope since he’s still a student and this balance can only take care of like your first year in Uni? ME: No, that’s not a problem at all; once my dad and mum get back everything will be sorted. VO: Okay, where’s your old passport and I can see you went to Dubai last year. ME: I didn’t come with it, yes I did. VO: Okay, I will be approving your visa (gives me the white paper and a small slip) but I will hold onto your dads account statement to check if it is fraudulent. If it is, it will attract a ten year ban and it will affect you and also your brother in the USA and that wouldn’t look nice right? ME: Don’t worry it’s not fraudulent, you can confirm it. VO: Okay, you’ll get a feedback in some days. ME: *Smiling* Thank you very much. I honestly think it was God that did it. All the questions I had in mind that he will ask, he didn’t. I wish everyone aspiring to go to the USA all the best. |

Hello Everyone
Please is there a seperate fee paid to Unilag for confirmation of results i.e WES verification ?
OR I can pay the 25K for processing and sending the transcript and expect that they'll respond when WES replys them..
Thanks in anticipation of your replies |

You can use MOD it's cheaper but with my experience at the Cayley College centre yesterday, I wish I paid the difference to BC. Imagine getting to a center by 8 (late, should have been 7:30) and we didn't start till past 11 am. tholuwalorpe: Please house, I need your opinion. I want to retake the test. Should I register with BC or MOD? |

Yeah, Section 2 - makeover and Section 3 - research(this was better). If it was University exam I will have been encouraged by the general consensus that it was tricky. However, this one is individualistic (e le ru gbe ru ee). ploff: Was sec 2 about makeover ? |
