Correct and despite knowing that Udom was brought in by akpabio, the Ibibios still went ahead to vote for him. So the earlier Ibibios unite, the better for all of us. The damage done by Akpabio, his family and inlaws is a complete slap on the face of an average Ibibio. They turned the entire state into a family affair and ensured that Annangs got key positions in his tenure. I don't blame them anyway but it's an eye opener for we Ibibios to sit up.

Who are the 'most people' that will respect the zoning? Udom won in 2015 because of annang votes that Akpabio gave him. Now he doesn't have that again.

Whether he deserves a second term or not isn't the issue. The koko is that ibibios are impatient and cannot wait any longer to mount the saddle of leadership again in akwa-ibom and senator akpabio has now joined forces with them to make it a certainty in 2019. Politics is a game of numbers and governor udom doesn't have the numbers on his side.

The senate presidency is coming to the south south. That is the plan. Akpabio has just put himself in pole position for the job.

Udom can't retain his seat in PDP. Akpabio wants him out of office and with the no-nonsense approach of Oshiomhole, APC will go for the kill especially now that they have every advantage to take the state and control a major oil producing state that will be cashcow for the party. The only thing that will save Udom is if he decamps to APC but pride and his bitter rivalry with Akpabio will not allow him to.

APC will take over the government house uyo next year. The formula is simple. Give an Ibibio man the ticket and Akpabio will bring the annang votes to supplement. Udom will surely vacate that office in 2019. APC now has deep roots in rivers and akwa ibom.

This is a very significant catch for our great party APC. Akpabio will ensure that soonest, APC takes the seat of power in akwa ibom and that means control of the largest oil producing state in nigeria! Tinubu is working. PMB till 2023. Sai baba!

Governor Udom Emmanuel is from the minority in that state. Once APC give their ticket to an Ibibio man and add the Annang votes that Godswill Akpabio will bring to the equation, then Udom and PDP are gone from Akwa-Ibom! PDP's days are certainly numbered in that state.

What is governor umahi afraid of if he believes that APC has no ground in his state? 2019 will clear the eyes of many wailers.

It is not hard to figure it out. Election is at hand so PDP no longer require their services. After PMB wins again in 2019, they will resume their bickering and biafla lamentations.

Akpabio should stop deceiving his former colleagues in PDP. He has agreed to join APC in exchange for support to become the next senate president in 2019 and nothing else. If he is found to be corrupt, EFCC will still come after him.

Kwankwaso doesn't really care about who wins the presidency in 2019. His feud is with Ganduje. Atiku will be heartbroken at the end of the primary because he certainly can't win. He may sit back and hope that Bubu wins so that he can try again in 2023 when PDP would have been seriously wrecked and will not mind giving their presidential ticket to a money-bag from the north to stand against the yoruba that APC would be fielding then.

Nyesom wike has already reserved the PDP ticket for Tambuwal. He wouldn't have risked decamping if he had any iota of doubt that he wouldn't be the PDP presidential nominee because it is totally impossible for him to return for a secmd term as governor on the PDP platform. The others are not presidential contenders except Atiku, Dankwambo and Lamido and these ones can't match Wike's financial warchest and party grip. Saraki wants to return to the senate, same for Kwankwaso but with added intention of stopping Ganduje from returning for a second term. Tambuwal is Bubu's opponent in 2019. That is why Baba decided to go and enjoy his medical vacation because the path to his re-election has just been cleared wider.

Usually, state houses of assembly are rubber stamps of the state governors. So 12 out of 30 is a dangerously high number that shows that Tambuwal does even have a grip of his own government.

Even ministers get levels and I am not sure that ngige ranks high in the food chain to warrant the president sticking out his neck for him. As far as the election of 2019 is concerned, ngige is very replaceable but oshiomhole is very not! Ngige is the one who has to bend to oshiomhole's will if push becomes shove.

Oshiomole is effective and produces results. PDP must be wishing they had someone like him. I am sure that nobody in the federal government and the APC exco will take Ngige's side on this matter.
