Aerofly76: Good day everyone, please for those that have gone thru TUM application before. I saw a couple of courses open for summer 2020. My question is, does TUM allow application into multiple courses? (I know some schools dont allow it). Thanks Yes. They do. You can use the VPD to apply to multiple programmes. |

Transcripts from my interview at the German consulate Lagos on 20.06.2019
Arrived there at 5.30 am. At 6.15am one of the security guys verified the appointment and stamped the appointment letters.
Lined up at 6.30am One guy helped in arranging the documents and ushered us in. ( Either it's not Paulinus or Paulinus was misrepresented. The man was *nice*).
Whats are your names ? What Visa are you applying for ? V.O goes through my documents. V.O Asked me to arrange them in a particular sequence using a list she gave me.
Gave me 3 copies of data protection documents to sign (returned 2 copies to her)
Gave me one printout and asked me to confirm my details on the form and sign.
V.O asked if I'm going for masters or bachelors. V.O collected the VISA fees and gave me receipt. What School and course ? Asked me to explain troubleshooting. V.O took my biometrics V.O starts asking questions. V.O asked if I've funded ? Answered in the affirmative and showed her coracle confirmation.. says she's never seen coracle before. Told her it's like fintiba.
Before asking questions she told me she didnt want stories.... just concise answers and straight to the point.
Why Germany ? Asked for 5 facts about Germany Why not Nigeria ? (tried comparing Nigeria education system with Germany... V.O says she didnt want comparisons) Why not U.S or U.K What are the products Germany exports ? Mention automobiles produced in Germany (Included textile and clothings in the list, vo looked surprised said shes just hearing that for the first time) Asked for my bachelors thesis (she asked further questions about outcome of the research) Asked what's the plan after the masters.. (told her I'm coming back to take up a senior role in my company .. asked how much am I earning ) Asked what type of company and what they do.. That concludes the interview. my office will get back to you.
PS: The V.O was nice, wasn't too fast and didnt interjects.. she listens to responses then type the responses in. Was interviewed by the lady on low cut with tinted hair.. think she was in counter 2
Also didnt use the telephone for interview... spoke with the V.O through the glass... |

Coitus: It's not like they scammed you guys. A lot of their courses are restricted, needing only 20-24 people for admission. This makes it very competitive. It will take special grace and a rock solid motivation letter to be accepted. I know two people schooling in Kaiserslautern presently Sent you a PM pls, |

Have you done any prior application on uni-assit ? - If No, then u will need to send it alongside certified copies of your document But if yes, No need to send it to them.... Only a handful of universities on uni-assit requires signed copy of the application. If there's no where to sign, no need to send the hard copies to them. To be safe, u can inquire from uni-assit though.. Amaterasu: I thought I was supposed to print out and sign the filled application form from uniassist website. But after filling the form on their site there is no place where my signature is needed on the pdf form/print. Did I miss something, I am planning to send the form to uniassist tomorrow . Pls folks who have done it before, do you sign on any part of the form before sending it to uniassist or just send it that way. |

Hello,
My Msc admission letter includes this phrase about intensive German Language course before the main program starts.
Does it satisfy one of the clauses for Category A
holding a bachelor's degree with a grade of 1. Class - 2. Lower Class and being accepted for a master's degree (also a DSH course-related admission to the master's program) or PhD study in Germany

harday27: Thank you for this, are we sending the form through post or just upload?? Also, did you send the hard copy application form or just the online application is enough?. Thanks I didnt send hard copy, Simple upload is fine. |

harday27: Please how were you able to resolve this?? There's a form u need to download scan and attach to your application. Check from the course website on TU Dresden. Unfortunately there are two versions of the forms, one on uni-assit application a different one on the course's website according to the aptitude assessment regulation of February 27, 2018 and according to the aptitude assessment regulation of March 14, 2018. I advise u fill, scan and upload both copies |

Fabcol: In addition. Thats if uniassist already have your certified documents then no need sending a form that has no provision for signing. If its your first application, weather the form has provision for signing or not, you need send your certified documents with the form to uniassist Sorry, forgot to mention that i already had applications processed by uni-assist. Already submitted certified copies earlier |

abnoble: Like the course i applied for at the school true uniassit they said this For some schools simple you dont need to send signed copy of application form to uniassist OVGU included. If there's no where to sign on the form, there's no need to send the signed copies by mail. Infact while i was planning to ship my documents uni-assit started processing the application. they started processing my applications. So i sent a mail asking if i need to send the document. See their response

Pokarika: Hello Everyone☺️
God bless everybody contributing positively to this thread, the wealth of information here is crazy. Thank y'all. Please, I have a little hitch with my Uni Assist application and I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to proffer a solution. After my uni Assist online application, I wasn't able to send the required hard copy documents on time and, as a result they sent me a mail telling me that my application was faulty. They also said new documents can still be sent before the deadlines. My question is this, will my sending those doing now regularise the already "faulty" application, bearing in mind that the deadline is still next month? Yes, but u will need to send the required documents to them. as long as they receive it before the application deadline. |

legionnaire: For those who are still looking for a school especially masters, Gelsenkirchen University uses UNIASSIST but most of their masters application is totally online no need to send anything to UNIASSIST or to school by post. Also application through UNIASSIST for this paricular university is totally free of charge. I believe they will be opening their portal in UNIASSIST for application from today. You guys can check it out and still give the house feedback.
Potsdam University is also free of charge when using UNIASSIST to apply for their school but I don't know whether they also require sending docs by post. Potsdam will require signed copy of the application form. TU Berlin too is free. (one application per semester though) |

Sakasitay: I swear. I applied for Management and Technology at TUM. The procedure can make you weak. I even wrote a ten-page Essay. Still waiting for my VPD - so that I can send them everything. TUM and LMU have crazy Admission procedures. Apart from the VPD, TUM's Data Engineering and Analytics will require u to enter all your courses in undergrad, credit points and grades in an excel and convert the scores to their CGPA. A 1,7 from bavarian system after uniassit evaluation ended up on 2,4 on their grading scale. Still have to write scientific essay on some topics ontop o. Didnt even bother LMU, their application na die!. They require for 1,5 for their Msc Data Science |
