Very soon every senator in Nigeria would receive cars worth 15million naira each. As a graduate that receives 100k every month, guess how many years it would take you to get 15million. ... As an unemployed graduate, guess how many years it would take you? Lol. Una never see anything for this country. 6 Likes |

tessygirl: Thanks, Tessy. But you see, these gadgets keep me going. It is thanks to them that I gain access to information in this age. As I mentioned to someone, I use my smartphone in learning stuff online, applying for jobs, and staying up-to-date with information in a fast-paced world. My phone and laptop have helped me maintain this much sanity. I won't be able to learn so much without follow up study of my own even if I registered for some course at the expense of the devices. 4 Likes |

jaychubi: why call out for my age? You don't run away from your problem by changing location but rather it helps you get out of your psychological depression when you meet others.... If you've been jobless and lonely you would appreciate my point better 1 Like |

Aeker:im not a graduate yet but then I presume you're meant to be a graduate to make a difference. What have you done to garner money ? I mean occupying yourself with any work that can bring money . If possible , leave your comfort zone , your parent house ... Since you're eating food everyday, you'll be accustomed to the routine in your home and environment . If it's teaching you're able to find in any reputable school ; do it to garner money . You can't be idle afterall ...you're a man ! 3 Likes 1 Share |

I graduated hoping that it was synonymous to being rich but I am shocked to see the job still far away from me. The worst is the age barrier that has been placed in many cases. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Aeker: A word of warning bro... For the sake of your time, if your intent to get a blog is to substitute it for a job as a means of making money, please have a rethink. Blogging is not a type of investment that can fetch you anything worthwhile within a year. 3 Likes |

bobolizim: Wise words, bro. Thank you. I'm currently making arrangements to leave my parents' house for good. But for as much as I want to leave, I do not want to jump onto a life of uncertainty so hastily. I've made contacts and am willing to move to any state for a teaching job or just any sort. I have been moving places to see if things could change, all to no avail. I'm really trying. But lack of funds means that I am unlikely to cover as much distance as I should. Will keep trying. Thanks. 3 Likes |

wman: Thanks for drawing my attention to this, bro. Actually, I have been writing freelance for a while now. I was on Fiverr for about two years. Unfortunately, I had just three repeat customers who kept coming back for more. Whether it was down to my using a Nigerian IP, I'm not sure. Think my highest earning in a month was about $95. They closed the account sometime this year. I haven't tried opening another. But I would on your recommendation. Thanks. |
