I replied No to both.....pls won't these reply affect my chances during the interview?

I think it's not an issue. You can clarify this during the interview. Tell the VO you have a relative in the States and provide details on how you are related...Uncle? Aunt? Cousin? Wife? Fiancee? etc.

Please house, for an approved B1/2 visa, how many working days do I have to wait to get my passport back? Reason is I need the passport to seat for IELTS only 5 days after my interview.

Sorry about this delay.......but a relative is a person connected by blood or marriage. And I think (considering your position) you have to provide good reasons why you have not travelled for a conference before. You can tell the VO that you have been attending series of regional conference and now it is time to have the international experience. Good luck!

If after the interview you are issued a visa, ask the VO of the possibility of holding onto your passport for the exam and sending it to them via DHL afterwards.

This is a great trend, kudos to all our advisers. I have this enquiry, my family is planning o travel next year for vacation. We are family of 5, I work with one of the PFAs and wife works in one of the specialist hospital. We have never travelled of the country. Will not having any travelling history be a challenge to us?

Number 4 - you have never been married but you claimed to be separated from your wife.
I know of a case where the applicant was rejected for a Canadian immigrant visa because of this exact same paradox.

Whatever happened to your relationship , please be consinstent in the answers you will put forth in your visa application as well as the interview to avoid a ban.
You can't indicate at one instance that you had never been married and then at another intance you indicate you are separated.

I am not helping him to cook up anything. I know for a fact that some people relationships are in limbo that they would give different answers in regard their relationships status. And this can be misconstrued as fraud.

Hello Solute, what the 2 previous posts are trying to tell you is that honesty is the best policy. Every lie in your visa application will somehow catch up with you some day. I can give you few examples of people who had lost their permanent resident status in the US or Canada just because the immigration had discovered lies made in the original visa applications.

To answer your question, even single people have been granted US visa.
