We have over 20 years experience developing drones, thats why we are helping great nations as UAE.

very sure, our submarines and mini aircraft carrier/LPD should have arrived by that 2018. we already have one of the world's top 10 largest navies in terms of number of vessels, and nigeria has the biggest navy in africa now based on vessels number.

.
You in terms of rust buckets in your ports?. South Africa has the best navy in Africa. "Your submarines"? Stop dreaming!!!!! If that's it then Angola will have the navy cause they're rumoured to be acquiring an ex-spanish aircraft carrier. So we should believe that!!!

south africa manufactures artillery guns but has only 120 units.

nigeria does not manufacture artillery guns but has 660 units.

how many times will i school you that manufacturing does not mean your military has all those weapons paid for and in service kept in your armoury ? dont be a dunce that has to repeat the same class every year grin

.
Nigeria is a dumping ground for western and old USSR weapons. Majority of your 660 artillery units are just crap from the old USSR. Which Nigeria cannot maintain during a full blown.

It seems as if you have a serious problem with comprehension skills. I even wonder how did you manage to acquire MBA degree with such limited academic abilities. Did i ever say SA is the biggest manufacturer of drones in the entire world? Of course the are the biggest in their own ranks, probably in Africa.

Come back here when you are sure! Probably? Until you prove that you have more than twelve operational UAVs in your fleet, just shut up your empty trap!

I told you - don't talk about things you know nothing about. You will be exposed, like you were last night.

And here's more of your ignorance below, for you to look at.

We can't allow you to forget this. Look at yourself in the mirror and weep.

This is who or rather, what you are.

Too many long irrelevant stories. Your anger won't change the facts I have shown.

I said private hands are buying US drones to help your military and rangers fight poaching. or didn't you read what you posted? To help fight poaching. Dummy

I thought you said SANDF could get whatever they want from denel.

So the drones are not needed right? You are deluding yourself.

I don't care who's incharge of the operation, all I have proven is that SANDF is seriously involved and dying like chickens in the hands of poachers. Fact already proven. You can cry all you want.

Your military is useless and too broke to buy drones from denel.

This guy from Nigeria is really mad. South Africa is an industrialised nation, thus our defence force does not develop weapons on their own. Denel came into being as a result of the act of parliament for such purpose as developing arms for our local defence. Why on earth should SAAF develop drones of their own when they have such a big defence industry?

Yes. A mad man that has made you type one comment thrice already truth does that. Don't bite your tongue o grin

As if I should believe Angola is getting an aircraft carrier. South Africa already has a project(project millennium) to acquire 2 or 3 LPD. Talking about future acquisitions doesn't improve the current capabilities of the Nigerian armed forces, which is even incapable of bringing back its equipment from Mali cause they were flown there by the RAF. South Africa will soon get heavy lift transport planes for the interim many sources indicating the Russian made II-76 might be chosen.

Drones are not something new in SANDF, unlike many militaries in Africa which do not even know how to operate drones to this day. SA has been operating drones ever since the Angolan war and have modified them with the latest technology over the years.

The drones in kruger are mostly donated. Recently we saw the donation of a attack helicopter. Poachers are not a military threat but Boko Haram on the other hand is blowing up MI-24s in bases, yet your air force plus satellites can't locate where their stolen APCs,Hilux land cruisers plus other vehicles are.

What's drones? NAF doesn't develop any high tech drone. Don't even talk about that funny Ameabo. Many of your drones need air strips to operate which on the African battlefield are hard to protect, cause many air forces aren't that capable like Nigeria's.

You are such a fool, we develop drone on a large scale, both for our local defence and prospective buyers. Poachers have never killed any soldier in SA. Soldier dying in Kruger National Park does not mean he was killed by poachers.

We have our own training facility in KNP and as you know in any military operation soldiers are killed accidentally.

You surely inherited your stupidity and foolishness from your parents! I don't need to go to the extremes to disprove your baseless claim. Simply state how many are operationally deployed in your SANDF? A big workshop and a plant that manufactures anything from bolts to bullet rounds doesn't confer on a spineless SANDF the ownership of bolts and bullets that they do not own! You cannot fly Gripens to CAR yet you want to fly weaponised drones in your dreams? Make I pass jaare!

no dude, the side that runs away and cannot hold territory is the loser. boko haram could not capture even one house and defend it in nigeria.

our army show up and fights, boko runs back across border to cameroon, chad or niger. that is the loser.

of course in any war both sides die, even america's mighty army has lost thousands of soldiers in afghanistan killed by islamic terrorists.

nobody has monopoly of killing in war, you kill and get killed in return.

for every 1 nigerian soldier killed, we kill 10 boko harams on average.

in nigeria we dont manufacture false kill ratio like south african army 15 dead, seleka rebels 1,000 dead grin

satellites, yes nigerian satellite would have seen the boko haram movement but response time will be late because they wont know who was moving whether it was nigerian army in operation/patrol or redeployment, so the satellite monitors wont raise any alarm signal because you cannot identify whose forces were moving.

that is the difference between insurgency war where both warring sides live and move inside the same territory and their is no dividing frontline.

it is a more complex war than a nation vs nation war where each country has its own separate border lines, if satellite sees images of massive human movement from chadian border heading to nigeria, they will raise alarm.

that is how we say boko harams anti-aircraft guns crossing a neighbouring border into nigeria on our satellite imaging systems and we struck them with Mi-24 gunships, they hit the gunship but it survived the anti-aircraft fire.

boko haram can raise 300 men inside maiduguri city without moving across border from cameroon because they live as civilians in the day selling yams and suya beef, then at night they change form into gun carrying terrorists.

if he hides AK-47 in bags of beans who will know ?

seleka rebels can be seen by satellite when they move in large numbers because they have known public bases.

boko haram has NO public visible base. they are an 'invisble' enemy until they close in on you.

even america and russia will sweat if they face boko haram style war, pakistan could not defeat terrorists and it is a nuclear power nation ranked about 10 in the world.

.
Yes,when your army shows up BH will retreat after destroying a lot of equipment overtime your air force will be reduced to a few a jets and attack helicopters. Boko Haram is winning because it still retains its anti-craft guns and is gaining more weapons(captured),while your armed forces are losing expensive equipment like helicopters. Boko haram loses a few AK-47 or AKM armed men, that is not a problem as long it can still recruit, train and arm compared to the enemy which is losing the equipment that allows it to hold the edge over the insurgents. NIGERIA IS LOSING THE WAR. The chants and screams of "ALLAHU AKBAR" are getting or moving close to Abuja.

make all the noise you want like a police man chasing armed robbers.

listen to military tactics, south africa has NO weapon that can challenge NNS Aradu, its Otomat anti-ship missile range is double of south african Exocet missiles. Aradu's Aspide anti-aircraft missile is 75km range and will shoot down the whole south african air force Gripen and Hawk jets even before they come close. Nigeria has BVR missiles on Aradu, south africa has no BVR or stand-off missile, FACT !!!

only south african submarines can threaten Aradu, but she has a brand new and modern American submarine detector sonar plus anti-submarine torpedoes, and when our Lynx anti-submarine helicopters come back from upgrade in march 2014 plus our brand new stealth warships, all south african submarines will be in danger, a 50-50 battle, only God knows who will win in open international sea, but close in nigerian waters EEZ, south african navy will be sunk down to meet mammy water at sea bottom.

your dead soweto navy sailors' spirits can marry fine mammy water if they wish, she is africa's most beautiful mermaid grin

.
Arandu can't deal with a stealth frigate plus a submarine at the same time. Without a sweat your rust buckets will be suck. The Nigerian navy can't take on SAN. NO FUTURE TALK PLEASE!!!!!!! Nigerian warships in international waters can't fight stealth frigates plus submarines around.
