Almost every religion provides a method to Divine experience, Tantra alone provides 112 methods and there is a method for everyone. Divine experience or more apt, Gnosis is simply indescribable and anyone who describes it to you is quite simply lying. Many people do not even come back from such an experience, it can shatter the psyche. I could write all the words in the world and still not adequately describe it, it is there only to be experienced, this is why Christians at least on this occasion got it right when they say "no man has seen God".

The limitations of religion in my view are all too clear to see, religion does not change you at your core being.

This is my point about Tantra and all you said. There shouldn't be many methods because many methods means there is no control or no boundaries. People end up playing God or loaded with pride. Control within morality and protection from self. Tantra does not resonate with God as its a goddess tradition called Shaktism. Tantra is idolatry!

The connotation of the word tantra to mean an esoteric practice or religious ritualism is a colonial era European invention so is very deceptive as its true origins have been cunningly hidden.

I have personally used the gift of prophecy for something terrible before many years ago out of anger and it hurs me deeply whenever I remember it.

The word of knowledge I know about scripturally though flows like a river after you must have first submitted to the Holy Spirit and received the gift, when you require it, it flows and keeps flowing until you want it to stop (without aid of meditation). It can come via clear direct images often mistaken for visions or by a clear spoken word in ones head whose accounts are very very accurate.

It does not manipulate but only speaks the truth.

But, the Word of Knowledge or Discernment of Spirits is different in operations from Clairvoyance.

The Word of knowledge gives you information about situations, and discernments of Spirits reveals the kind of Spirit at work in an individual. But, clairvoyance is mind reading, and this goes with manipulations. They are not the same. Except i'm wrong.

No they are not the same even though clairvoyance claims to be able to foretell the future, I doubt it can. Only God has that ability. Clairvoyance can be a force for evil because there is no control. Word of knowledge due to its source being the Holy Spirit is a force for good alone.

Discernment of spirits as you said, reveals the source of the workings in a man and works side by side with word of knowledge.

But you do have with his claim to Deity and his Authority? Quite easy to acknowledge the historical aspect of his life, even his teachings, but all these are incomplete without the 1st two.

Infact, decades ago, skeptics stood on the grounds that he didnt even exist. But today, the agree he did, but still disprove his claims to Divinity(direct and indirect). Beats me to why they keep shifting ground.
