I'm not sure how true that is.

If they killed their founder then they must have been seen as a serious threat at one point.
You think if they knew killing him would have led to an emergence of a more deadly force, they would have done it?

The thought at the time was that killing Yusuf would have been the end of BH and that was a terrible mistake.

I think Linda Ikeji pays her web developers quite well. The only problem is that she doesn't know much about IT, these web developers take advantage of her.
Maybe she's paying incompetent people, even without moving a finger, I know the solution to that problem of the site consuming a lot of data and within a month it can be fixed.

Anyways, from what I've read and digested, I feel the dude is a gold digger. Maybe his 'new wife' just haven't figured. He picked interest in her after eavesdropping in her long phone conversation. He must have heard things that made him believe she's a big fish.

The short period between their first meeting and marriage is a pointer.
Well, it's a case of 'mo wòkò pade mo waya'

I don't believe this woman one bit. She is a woman scorned, and her story doesn't sit well with me.
1. The guy according to her story was the cause of her miscarriage, she implied that he beat her until she passed out yet she says she had internal injuries to her arm! Wtf! She should have internal injury to her womb or the body not her damn arm.
2. Why didn't she have the man arrested if he caused her miscarriage through violence?
3. She claims the guy cheated on her but she was dating him in 2014 while his new relationship started the end of last year (July 2016) so how did he cheat on her?

She had an abortion when she knew he wouldn't stay for the sake of the baby. If she was a better woman she wouldn't humiliate herself by sharing her story when nobody asked her. She is an absolutely shameful hater.

I hate women who rain on other women's parade.
I love smart women!

We are not saying corruption started around 2015. The issue is going to say it at the international scene. Comon!, who does that?! Is there no corruption in the American system, albeit on a low level? How often do you see the president of a country going to rubbish his state before the world? It seems he only remembers his country is corrupt and picks his lines once he's traveled.
And have you noticed that the tiny shred of respect Nigeria had has gone since he came onboard? No country takes the "giant of Africa" serious anymore. Even Mali and war-torn Libya now deport our citizens. Nigerians are killed with impunity outside and nothing happens cos they know the Nigerian govt won't do jack.
Me am just waiting to round-off my program here and scram!
If I'm a thief and you call me a thief, did you do anything wrong? Yaradua got elected from a fraudulent election he got sworn in and said he knows the election that brought him in wasn't fair yet we hailed him. Just check the stories on front page and there is no single day you won't see a Nigerian doing something bad abroad. I agree that Buhari is a problem but the thing is he's not even the major problem. Citizens get the President they deserve.

As for international respect, if you are a keen observer of international politics then you will agree we've had a bit of credibility, the change in attitude from the top countries is evident for everyone to see.

Also, deportation is not how you measure international respect, if you go to any country and you break their laws you will be deported it has nothing to do with respect. Btw I know a neighbor that was deported from Libya like 15 years ago so it's not a new thing smartphones and the Internet has just made these stories easily accessible.

I was wiping down the tops, counters and kitchen stuff, when the dude (who was sweeping) pulled up beside me, he was like "obi, you not from around here, are you?" I replied, "na bro, Im from Africa" (most people here think africa is a country, so its easier for me to say Im from africa to avoid too much talk). Suprisingly, he asked, "what country bro?" I replied "Nigeria".

"You miss home?"

I replied "Yeah man, its a great place with nice weather and lovely people"

He asked what I was doing there before i came over, I told him, next thing he asked was "if you got your life going over there, why come here?"

I replied "things are not so good over there bro". Next thing he said was "How bro, everybody corrupt?"
At that point, I didn't even know what to say, or how to start jumping into this conversation

______________

see eh, you do not know how much buhari's utterances have damaged our image internationally. How do you start defending your country when your president has gone on international television to shame all the citizens of the country. One thing we should all know is that the internet never forgets. Here's someone who has never been to the country before, judging every single person based on what he read on the internet. Over the course of our conversation, he brought up a lot of topics: jollof rice (I later told him about fried rice too), fufu and our food in general.

He said he read about the miracle river and asked me if I've been there before, (I was like: WHaT miracle river?!)
I later remembered the stuff I read over the news sometime about the water flowing from a statue that was healing people. He brought up the fact that we eat dogs, and asked if i eat that too. He said he read about our child soldiers (at this point, Im like WTF!?)

I had to ask him where he read all this stuff from, he said he googled up "Nigerian culture" and clicked on some random links and read through.

At this point, we delved into the culture discussion. We both brainstormed on the fact that the black americans have no culture whatsoever, they have no rules or guidelines. the mexicans, the italians, the indians, the caucasians and native americans have some sort of cultural backbone, some sort of values that govern their lives in a way. But the blacks in america have no culture. Its basically: born throway sort of mentality. A scenario where ratchetness, drugs, guns, gangs and violence are seen as a way of life. Later on, when I was all by myself, it dawned on me, maybe, just maybe, if we had fine-tuned our cultural values from the days of old and somehow blended it with the western education we got, nigeria would not be in the situation it is right now. Back then, baby-mamas and having kids out of wedlock were seen as a taboo, but look at us now. Are we slowly losing it? are we throwing our cultural values to the wind? will we end up like the akatas? (ask anybody for yankee the meaning)

I would be looking forward to the next time we work together, the conversation we had on that day was really refreshing.
In as much as I'm a fan of you talking about your experience I think you got the Buhari/corruption link wrong. So are you saying it was 2015 that the world started viewing us as a corrupt country? You see this corruption thing went mainstream after 1979 and it has gone down hill from there, leaders till date have only paid eye service to it. So Buhari echoing what we are and the world already knows is not the problem. The first stage of solving a problem is admitting the problem.

Fellow programners I'm a beginner when it comes to stuff like this and I was hoping maybe a few bright minds might walk me through
I'm to write a JavaScript program that does the following

*take input from the user
*generate a number between 0-100
*compare the user input to the random number and the status(greater than or less than)
*if user is correct a congratulatory message would pop up and an exit message
*if wrong give 3 chances more,if still wrong tell the user ur answer and exit
*the random number does not change during the game
Ask user if he/she wants to play again

+ I don't have a laptop too so I need someone to please help me with one.............thanks
You don't need a laptop, go to Playstore and download JS run and write it on your phone. As for the question use Google, try to write something first then come back when you're stuck.

I was born in Lagos so I know what I am saying , Fashola was a deceptive fraud but Lagosian who were used to mediocrity started hailing hime over very mediocre and mundane things .. During the campaigns i was vehemently against Ambode because of his fat Tummy ( see from experience I never trust men or women with fat tummies because that tummy got there as a result of lack of discipline and greed) but within 4 weeks Ambode had me changing my mind and now I am a die hard fan of the guy.
Nope! He wasn't. You see, this APC that people are shouting everywhere now, that's possible because of Fashola. He's the poster boy of ACN-APC mass appeal. I will agree that he mellowed down during his second term but the truth is almost all second term governors do that in this country. You know what his fellow governors used to call him at the governor's forum? "Class Captain". Why do you think this was so?

From fixing Oshodi, to security, to how the Ebola issue was handled and especially with that security Council that Ambode has worked to even improve you can't just rubbish Fashola. He's not perfect but he's very good by Nigerian standards, I've taken time to do this for posterity sake, it will be bad if we distort history for the coming generation.

Please take time to Google and see stories and events from when he was Governor, that should settle it.

Lmao. You're not a true lagosian, with this logic we might as well call Jakande, Marwa and Tinubu non performers. For the records, this is what real continuity in government looks like, when the next governor comes you will feel Ambode is a corrupt fraud.

Obasanjo has made many friends in our local politics, and he has made too many enemies too. He could not show up at IBB's and now is super-excited to be visited. At least showing a smiling face is meant to portray to only shallow minds that he is happy, I can bet with my left ball, he is fucking unsure of the political dynamics. He needs to lay low, cos Children of Nowadays do not abide by the colonial respect for corruptly enriched politically exposed persons. I do not envy him.
He didn't show at IBB's cos he's son was getting married at almost the same time. That said he was in IBB's house in Minna a couple of weeks ago, as for the political dynamics, this guy has been super influential in deciding the three Presidents after him, you don't underrate a person like that.

I swear you lot speak as if we're some sort of sith lords. There is no northern agenda.

His actions do not suit that of someone on that throne. He has no influence on Nigeria as a whole so you need not worry who the emir is.
Actually the North in general is a feudal state and you know dogmatism is what keeps feudal states strong, Sanusi has made an attempt to hit that base and that's why this is a mess.

An uncle of mine told my mom he wants to SEND me to Denmark, that his friends there will help me find a job there, but what kind of job? No answer, now how do I go there? as a student or tourist? Still no answer, the stories I am hearing is too scary, that is about going to Europe to hustle, now I have consecrated the past 6 months actively teaching my self graphics design, logo and web design, and I am in the process of building up my portfolio before going sites like fiverr, Upwork and other freelancing sites, but since two weeks ago, that my uncle said that, I have not rested, trouble everyday. Is it advisable to go to Denmark blind or carry on with my own plans ? Please no insults, this is serious.
You're smart and that will always open doors for you. It's a good thing that you have seen the loopholes in your Uncle's plan, it doesn't look good. I love the fact that you have taken up graphic design, once you're done try as much as possible to progress to front end development.

The day you master that, I can assure you companies from abroad will recruit you from your bedroom in Nigeria.

If you need help about how to get into Front-End development please mention me.
