I disagree.

These messaging aps are used in other countries yet their telecoms sector is still very vibrant.

The problem is that these companies are not innovative. They can also expand and introduce other products such as sim only deals inclusive of minutes and data, etc.

In the UK, we have SKY. A company listed on the stock exchange. They started with providing satellite TV services before expanding into landline and broadband. Just recently, they've introduced mobile phone services offering deals for mobile phone customers.
You know the funny thing about this post my brother? You said you disagree but went ahead to same the same thing as me. Remember my post you quoted said "Why do you think MTN is pivoting"? The emboldened is what we call pivoting in tech so you actually agree with me you just explained it better in layman's terms.

I know 2 people affected by the sack. This recession is biting harder.
It's not recession rather it's a disruption, instant messaging apps with call and video options are gradually burying the telecoms industry. Why do you think MTN is pivoting?

Northern governors, most of whom have probably never heard of Osinbajo as at that time somehow nominated him without Tinubu's knowledge. This must be the funniest account of how the VP emerged.

Fact is, Tinubu's first option was to run as VP and his second option was to nominate Osinbajo if the first option failed. He knew the Muslim-Muslim ticket will be very hard to sell hence, the need for a formidable plan B. All this silly effort to rewrite history is unnecessary. 2019 will soon be here and we shall all see who actually can deliver for the party and who cannot.

I'm really sorry for this Gbenga, but you will agree with me that recession has little or nothing to do with this. You and I know Etisalat and other Telecoms companies have been doing this type of nonsense even before recession.

I really hope you acquired a skill outside customer service during this period and if it's possible postpone your wedding till you're back on your feet again but if are sure you can cope then it's ok.

You worship THREE gods but We Muslim worship one and Only God.
You can argue without disrespecting another man's religion.

“This is a message from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them. Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens; and by God! I hold out against anything that displeases them. No compulsion is to be on them. Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries. No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims’ houses. Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God’s covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate. No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight. The Muslims are to fight for them. If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to take place without her approval. She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray. Their churches are declared to be protected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants. No one of the nation (Muslims) is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day (end of the world).”

she was just hurt about how her husband could think worse of her and can't take it.

seriously, I can feel her pain.
The husband should man up and apologize. No marriage is perfect.

Cos if God fit give me two wonderful pikin thru this woman wey nor dey loyal, then I need not to blow that blessing away.

@Every!, is is best to consult a councilor? I doubt that, cos our first counseling, she gave too much details that even the counselor felt sort of uncomfortable. Will a pastor be advisable? That too depends on the pastor, its only God that can see through a real pastor, some will claim to want to administer help, they use prayers to try to penetrate ones wife. Or is there therapy that can handle this situation?
What? Aren't you man enough to handle your business? Why must you talk to a Pastor? So when she infects you with HIV (God forbid) your Pastor will heal you abi?

How on earth do you think talking to a greedy and ungrateful person will work? Baba I just weak for how you dey handle this matter.

Thats where the story of my life began.
Look at you my man, just look at you, how can you open your eyes and walk into a trap? I keep saying when it comes to marriage, you can't do stuff cos your parents say you should do it simply because when the cookie crumbles you will be alone to face it.

Mr. adam500hr

I'm talking now from your wife point of view.

she's not cheating on you at all. All those attitude and things she displayed are just stunts to make you jealous and do the needful. But you took it the wrong way.

she's used to you giving her what she wanted and on this matter you should have employ diplomacy & stood your ground without hurting her emotions. But you did.

The fact where she asked you what you have ever done for her is peculiar to all women. you can't judge her based on that. it's Everywhere.

And for you to call her a hoe and other names on baseless accusations is just the height of it all for her. she can't stand it anymore hence her decision to leave.

first you turn down her request, she tries to get your attention and you took it to another level already.

Bro. for the love of God pls. Apologize to your wife and let this end.
You shouldn't let your beautiful marriage end like that.

Afterwards, tell her all your grievances about her attitudes and all. I'm sure she will apologize too. pls. let sleeping dogs liewink

Apology doesn't mean you are Right or the other is Wrong, it simply means you value your relationship more than you ago. Why not say sorry And move Forwardhuh
You clearly left out her being an ungrateful person, hope you know that's as worse as cheating. In other news she cheated, read the story again and tell me why a woman will be willing to leave her marriage in order to avoid shame just because " All those attitude and things she displayed are just stunts to make you jealous and do the needful".

You are right, The car I bought for her, she asked me why its not bought in her name, I for one never have thought about entitlement in marriages, it didnt hit my mind for once, immediately i knew she was sensing, if anything happends, what would she fall back on, I asked why she would think that deep, she said its only normal that if you buy something for someone, it should be in their name. My hand fall.
I'm really sorry bro but you married the wrong woman, the type of woman we pray everyday to avoid. It's time to look beyond her and move ahead. I had to let go of a woman with similar behaviour at a point I almost married her, looking back, I'm happy I dodged that bullet.

1. Never yell.

2. Don't call names or use insults

3 Never make statements that you cant back up sooner or later

Obviously you have made a big mistake here. And until you have undeniable proof, I suggest you call your wife and apologise sincerely.

What she said about a Mouth Action and the stylish hanging up may be ploys to get you worked up and raise the money for her, or they may be true that she's cheating. As you have no proof of either, you have to be the man and eat the humble pie.

As for her not wanting orgasms, bros na your wife o. However hard she might act, there are moves you make that (you know) drives her mad. Do them unexpectedly, not too much, just enough to get her excited and see if she will not give herself to you fully.

If she says she wants to leave, bro, the answer is no. Our generation should not be the one that throws things away because it is broken, we ought to mend them and make them work. Our parents did it, we can too. No be say na by force but divorce never makes things easy. Me and that woman will lock ourselves in a room for a week and work things out.

If she has cheated on you (and she confesses) and you are willing to forgive, good. If not, however, let that be the basis of you guys separating and not just cause of some money issues or emotional trauma.

If you must part ways, please the less the noise made and dust raised, the better.

Above all, be calm and meditate. Pray, it works!

Cheers.

I agree we are not one but that still boils down to the fact that we're terrible human beings not terrible hausa or Igbo people.

Do you know the think if we're one, that guy that came for Christmas from America would have been murdered by his own kinsmen? If you become a multimillionaire tomorrow won't you still be careful with people from your own compound?

Anywhere you go in this country there are bad people and division won't stop anything, or you think when that happens it will be possible for an Anambra man to marry an Imo woman or Ijaw and Itshekiri will no longer be suspicious of each other or there will be peace between Northern and Southern Kaduna?

In a lawless country like Nigeria, the strong will always humiliate the weaker members of the society and go Scot free.

All of us are witnesses that this county is progressing from bad to very, very worse. Can you imagine how cheap human life has become in this lawless county without good leaders? The leader of the nation is working from home while things are spoiling.

A Nigerian life is worth slightly less than that of a fowl.
How cheap human life has become? Really? This shit has been happening since the mid 90s, sorry if you're just noticing but we're in a mess and we're not even ready to get out of this mess.

They have to learn the language, in fact free German classes is part of the employment package. I know they must learn the language even though the business language for almost all tech companies in Germany is English.

Learning a new language is not an impossible task.

This one is not hear say. I lived in a town with Zimbabweans and both men and women are promiscuous. The women are mostly nurses, the men miners. These people have failed marriages. Infact a Zimbabwean nurse I used to know walked out of her marriage because her husband was sleeping with another Zimbabwean woman who is married.

They are a mess
But they have big behinds grin

Because most people actually begin with negative stories. Even myself. But most never get a chance to pursue their dreams became they just strive to survive daily.
As written in several posts here already. Beginning as a teenager as I did gave a certain leeway to later cope better: enough energy, to try to adapt, and still have time to spend donkeys years in school, while working alongside. Falling asleep in class, lab, etc sometimes.

But seeing a 39 years old man/woman planning to abandon fairly ok life in 9ja is heartbreaking.

We Africans always talk of grace & individual luck, etc. The West that we're talking about do not live their life by chance. It is concrete planning decades ahead that makes the society work. Not because each person here has three heads or spend the whole day in church. Concrete planning. Both state & individuals plan seriously.

You will never understand though. Just try it yourself first. Experience is the best teacher.
Lmao @ I will never understand. Let me tell you my story.

After loosing my job and was unemployed for a while, I had to drain my savings and got some money from my mum and I moved to the UK for my PG. At the time most people said I should have invested that money in a business but I was convinced that a degree in Software Engineering was what I needed.

When I got there I knew it wasn't going to be easy, but I kept my head up worked in the evenings at M&S did Security on weekends, paying my rent and other bills. I graduated with a good grade, was top 3 in my set and from that point my movement has been forward. So my brother, I understand maybe even more than you or have you ever travelled to a sleepy town for a security job that entails working for 12 straight hours? It was tough, yes but looking back it was the best decision I made for my life.

I doubt it because she is very intelligent, she is very brilliant, everyone in the family knows how brilliant she is, she was the best graduating Medical student in Uni zik then, I also have a close relative who happens to be a nurse, she went to UK about 8 months ago and I've always chatted her up but she said she hasn't gotten a job yet.I'm really curious.
I've seen brilliant people that failed that exam so it's possible. If there is one thing I'm sure of, Doctors and Software Engineers have the highest number of professionals leaving Nigeria right now. As for your Nurse relative, is she through with her certification? If she passed there's no way she will be unemployed.
