iammo: Two gentlemen

Makinde needs the formula of handling Oyo thugs/ NURTW thugs
And the master plan of how to win Oyo state second term
Learn how not to demolish buildings without building plan or approval or else our people wnt let you be as they prefer disaster to preventive demolition
Again I pray God gives him the wisdom to generate enough. revenue to cater for thousands of school in Oyo state and have enough fund for roads spanning the large expanse of oyo. Because our people don't want to pay 3000 per year on a child's education they want government to cater for that freely and any attempt to increase tax or levy is a political suicide This comment has no single like but it's the best, it captures the reality without talking about partisan politics. I wish Seyi Makinde well but man has the toughest job in the country right now...fingers crossed |

escodotman: You are still wrong and anyone who compares our comments would agree that you are the one being partisan here. First of all, how could you compare a 4year term each of both the PDP governors to a full 8years of both the APC governors? Who made such comparison in the spirit of fairness? Secondly, what you should ask yourself is that what effort(s) did both set of governors put in place to settle the school's problem? One set of governors (PDP) built a college of health sciences for billions of Naira. The same period also saw a teaching hospital built for billions of Naira. For your information, during the PDP governor's term, the only problem the school always had was ownership. Oyo state felt they have no state university whereas Osun state has their own so Lautech should be left alone for Oyo state. But medical students make use of the teaching hospital and college which was only located at Osogbo in Osun state. This informed Akala to build those teaching hospital and college of health sciences in Ogbomoso so there would no more issue for medical student Now what happened during the second set of governors' (APC) administration? What the school witnessed was regression, disruption in the flow of academic activities, due to refusal to pay staff salaries, which made the school lose it's position among the best in the country. You would ask how I know so much? I was part of the medical students at Osogbo campus who were affected when the trouble first started and it caused us many months of academic works. Thank God I've graduated from the school but it is my wish, like any other alumni of Lautech to see all the problems resolved. This is why I blame the both the APC governors, they came which "change" song and had a full 2term to get things right. Shalom How am I partisan by saying all both PDP and APC Governors are responsible for the mess? Do you know the meaning of partisanship? Let me burst your bubble. You say PDP Governors achieved a lot but the only thing you mentioned is the teaching hospital. Now tell me is LAUTECH only for medical students? What happened to other college and facilities? Let's focus on the teaching hospital, who was the contract awarded to? Don't tell me you don't know. At a point during the construction did the building collapse as a result of fake building materials or not? What happened after that? I also noticed the numbers game you played up there but let me tell you one thing, a failure is a failure whether 4 or 8 years. Good thing you mentioned you were a student at that point because I was already a staff as at then and our salary wasn't regular, a good number of us resigned to pursue better things, there was always one story and I'm sure you heard about it. So please don't sell a government that failed to pay my entitlement to me Once again I'm not defending any party as this quoted message suggests, both of them failed and building one million teaching hospitals won't change this. |

ferhyntorlah: My question is: Can Oyo state buy out Osun state's ownership of Lautech since Oyo has majority share?
This idea of two states managing one university is a NO in my opinion.
I stand corrected.
Cc: 4dor Brilliant question! This is what Akala tried to do when Oyinlola established Osun State University but the Osun State Government totally rejected the deal. It's an ego battle between both states. Unfortunately, Osun State is not buoyant enough to support LAUTECH, it's a deep mess. |

escodotman: I think you very naïve or you are so ignorant about issues of Lautech. Akala intended to settle the issue of ownership tussle by building a multi-billion naira college of health sciences and teaching hospital and hoped to conclude all the issues before he lost his re-election and Oyinlola was sacked by supreme court to pave way for Aregbesola and Ajimobi who are both APC governors. In other words, if both the PDP governors didn't leave office, Lautech's problem would have been solved a long time ago The two APC governors came and worsened and destroyed any gain and legacy Lautech had left by refusing to pay staff salaries and settle the ownership tussle. So what exactly are you talking about? First off all I'm not naive about anything LAUTECH, four people from my family are products of that institution, my late Uncle was a Professor and I also worked there for a while so let's cancel your first point. Now if you look at your argument you'd realise you're creating excuses for Akala and Oyinlola. Before Akala lost the election didn't he have four full years? Before Oyinlola was chased away, didn't he have four full years from his first term ? Was their first term not characterised by ego filled personality clashes? We both no you can't deny these things and it's why they both failed. Aregbe and Ajimobi failed same as Akala and Oyinlola, trying to absolve a pair of any blame because of partisanship is the reason why this country is a mess. Enjoy the rest of your day. |

jydeskill1: That school is jointly owned by Oyo and Osun State which is actually the major cause of neglect. Seyi should thread softly with all his promises. Politicians can not be trusted anymore. It will be better if he is telling us how he intend to resolve the issue which must not be fees hike. You're the only person that understands the issue on this thread. Thank you! |

escodotman: That school has gone through a lot in the hands of both Aregbesola and Ajimobi, both APC governors. You're right but why are you leaving out Akala and Oyinlola who used the school to fight boxing out of this? Is it because they were PDP Governors or you're too young to remember? |

Even though I'm a born again Christian, Christianity has been reduced to a joke and a laughing stock thanks to the evil fraudulent charlatans parading as pastors. How people who are supposed to preach the salvation of Jesus Christ now turn their pulpits to false prediction platforms disguised as prophecies is beyond sane minds. If only the Federal government can follow the example of the Rwandan government by banning myriads of business centres called churches and ensuring pastors are certified in theological schools before setting up churches, this sham of a Christianity won't be reformed. From the so called Bishop of doom known as Oyedepo to the mentally deranged idiot called Suleiman, they have all displayed their undiluted partisanship and love for PDP and they're ready to tell their gullible followers anything to discredit the president because the status quo ain't the same as the previous thieving regime of sharing dollars on pulpits nationwide. While Muslim leaders and organizations like Muric remained silent throughout the elections, our fake pastors kept releasing baseless lies in the name of prophecies against the president yet none came to pass. Isn't it time we Christians use our brains and question the god these hopeless men claim to serve? Isn't it time for a revolution in churches to sanitize the system? Until we Christians emancipate ourselves from mental slavery, useless men like the aforementioned will keep playing bet9ja prophecies with our brains. Sometimes I'm ashamed to be associated with Christianity. Honestly You're a born again Christian and you haven't come across a place in the Bible that tells you not to judge? |

firstly let check the word alausa and it meaning
Alausa also mean Alawusa at the quoted box.
Alawusa commonly means the seat of Lagos state government. each time tinubu made mention of alausa he is referring to the seat of the Lagos States Government.
from what i could gathered from the interpretation of the clip is that tinubu is promising his loyalist that he can only give them good money when he enters the states house.
but for now buhari didn't released enough Money for the campaign and it can only reward the support group with better money when he deeps his hand on the Lagos states treasury or commonly put it simple when his anointed candidate win the Lagos state governorship election.

Ozkar: the law you posted a link to says if you have the power to appoint, you have the power to remove or suspend.
Does the president have the power to appoint the CJN on his own? No. The NJC recommends the next CJN, and then the president approves and seeks confirmation from the legislative majority before the appointment becomes official.
So why did he suspend him without recommendation from NJC and confirmation by the legislative? Good question! You know who has the power to answer this? A competent court of law not you or me. Hopefully someone will wake up and do the right thing. |

Ozkar: and it wasn't the president who suspended him.
Also it makes no sense to argue the illegality of suspending the head of the judiciary (CJN) without majority legislative backing, by citing the example of a former President of the Court of appeal. For the umpteenth time at no point did I use Salami as a yardstick. I'm also telling you once again to read section 11 of the Interpretation Act. http://www.nigeria-law.org/Interpretation%20Act.htm We can all argue from today till tomorrow it won't change what this law says. |
