yes, adobe and word are covered, along with every productivity needs i can think of off-hand. bigger screen estate means more comfort with those too. plus it comes with a digitizer pen, so you can actually take notes like you using a pen to write, doodle etc!

The Note runs on Android OS and well, its awesome. Plus if your present phone is running Android too, then everything on it will run on the Note, and much better to BTW

but u dey use phone sha. i freestyled a friends Note for 2 days in the name of testing and with 50% screen brightness or less usually went from 6 am till like 4 pm before needing a charge. i browse at least 2 hrs with it in that time!

as for apps, bro forget the bloat. go minimal. preloaded software you have little or no control over will hamper your product.
Just a few things, maybe Spinlet, tho u may need permissions from the company.


Android users will ALWAYS install their own things, just ensure you ship with market enabled


which OS version are you aiming to ship?

Are you intending to have a custom overlay? forget it, bad idea. go stock android.

if you intend to ship gingerbread just install ICS launcher from factory.

if you want to install programs in WINE now i suggest you use playonlinux.

its much better developed now.

plus it supports a larger number of apps these days.

makes it easier than struggling with WINE manually. it usually downloads the windows dependencies and the appropriate version of WINE most compatible for the app you want to run, so dont be surprised when it downloads like 4 different versions of WINE for different apps. its all automated and hidden from you anyway.


drawback is just that u have to start the apps thru the Playonlinux gui.

whisper it quietly too, but for some reason the apps i tried didnt need the activation key yadayada, eg MSWORD 2010. it just worked, no cracking, no activation, no key etc.

Its there, or something like that is there. Called burst mode. But going by the atrocity most oem did to the stock camera settings its as good as not being there.

what i would recommend is, back up your stuff. copy out ur mem card things. put it in a card reader or something else and format it.

then factory reset your phone. if you lose root, root it again.

then return your memory card. DO NOT PARTITION YET.

Gingerbread can actually move to SD, so try that first. forget the partition thingy first. im thinking your rom does not have the necessary modules anyway.

if that works ur cool. if it does not, try APP2SD first before u try Move2SD


if they still dont work you definitely have to look for a custom rom.

did not quite get what was gwan with the thing at first but apparently that thing is taking crazy pictures with my 8MP camera. really good quality.

it takes three shots in quick succession at different exposures and rates and combines them on the fly within 5 secs to produce a very very high quality picture with superb clarity as in WOW!!

i no fit upload sample pic here but i can tell you its worth a trial.
