Automate Ubuntu With Cuttlefish


Cuttlefish allows you to create events that only happen under certain circumstances.

For example, I like to keep my audio muted as I don’t like system sound to be played out to me. However, I have Cuttlefish setup to automatically un-mute my sound when I open Rhythmbox or Totem Movie Player. Then when I exit either application, the sound is muted again.

Cuttlefish is very powerful in what it can do, you can do things like opening your browser when Ubuntu connects to your wireless LAN, or automatically lock your screen when a USB stick is unplugged (this is a great idea for computers in public places like in work).

err, ok. not sure why i need to take pictures in the dark tho, but don't mind me (you see im a bush man)

all these ones i listed are for 1k and 2 k

incidentally the 4 k bouquet just adds some entertainment channels like fox. i dont think pple ever pay for it. the 2 k bouquet does the job.

Nokia apologises for 'faked' smartphone advert

Nokia has apologised after it emerged that an advert featuring video footage which appeared to have been filmed with its new flagship smartphone the Lumia 920 had in fact been created using different equipment.

The Verge news tech site revealed the issue after it noticed a window reflection revealed a cameraman holding what appeared to be an SLR camera.

In a blog post the handset maker said it should have "posted a disclaimer".

The news threatens to take the shine off the launch of the Lumia 920 phone.

naturally, because they soaped/washed other peoples phones in their marketing rush, people paid attention and saw that in nokia's video there was the shadow of the guys taking the vid with professional cameras!! not the phone.

ooh ur memory card? then u must have some particular applications that cache aggressively.

try to find out which ones. go into the apps reduce the cache sizes, most apps allow u to specify how large the cache will be.

or just uninstall them.

for eg. on my fone apps like goal.com, spinlet, ucbrowser cache pictures, logos etc on my memory card.



other than that, the only other way I know that can happen is if you use Link2sd and ur apps and stuff are on the memory card
