Long time away. Gentlemen, happy new year.

So I used to have a 90cm dish with 3LNB setup for 17E, 28E and DSTV.

Now I've stopped paying for DSTV, 17E is gone and something happened to the 28E I really don't know.

Basically I want to reposition the satellite.

What are my best options? I don't have a decoder for this powervu neither am i inclined to the wahala.

Which sats can i use my dish for and pointers to how to track them pls. Thanks

Chairman enable app permissions and check to see all the apps that have sms permission.

Disable that permission for the funny ones. Infact it's only whatsapp and the sms app that should have sms permission.

Enabling app permission will let u know which app is trying to do stuff too.

Anyway the problem is you have a rogue app, probably a virus hidden in your phone l OS. If you are rooted you will be able to delete it/them after u identify it.

It's the charging port. It's the number one problem with the hot note.

Go to Carl care and they will change it for you. Otherwise hope it starts to work again. Sometimes it works again for a while.

Thanks. Doesn't work on some devices though. Like the one I'm trying to fix.

Eventually had to use a multimeter to short the power circuit long enough to enter preloader mode.

so has anyone figured out a solution for the charging issue on this Hot Note?

its not a matter of usb or charger. those options have been eliminated conclusively. this device suffers from this flaw.

I think you should go and check your history lessons

Van p goals took us in bootom half December to February where we caught spuds and pipped them to 3rd place where they were chanced by Chelsea who took the 4th spot

He left to united the next season
Do you even read posts before replying? 4 years ago was arsenal in 2nd Place on the log in 1st week of December?

So why should we be moaning at 2nd place when we have had it much worse in recent times?

Then i don't know why the Leicester quote is news. is Leicester not 1st on the Table? DId they get there by filmtrick?
What were the 19 other teams looking at when Leicester was winning games?

How are you going to take over if you don't win your games and they slip up?

The wailers and moaners currently assaulting commonsense weren't here 4 seasons ago.

Those that were here then know better than to moan at 2nd position in December

AS USUAL, You lot will just come here to moan about things without considering what the reality is.

If the injuries are Wengers fault, then by now LvG and Pellegrini should be hung and quartered for their squads....

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/6777100/arsenal-do-not-have-worst-premier-league-injury-record.html
ARSENAL’S injury woes have been blamed for the club failing to win a single Premier League game in November — but new data has revealed that Arsene Wenger has had it easy compared to Manchester City and Manchester United this season.

Arsenal players have picked up 24 injuries since August, which slightly exceeds the league average of 20.45.

But City have had to cope with an eye-watering 35 injuries since their opening day win against West Brom.

Key players such as Vincent Kompany, Samir Nasri, Sergio Aguero and even goalkeeper Joe Hart have struggled to maintain fitness, but City have been able to perform more consistently than Arsenal and currently lead them by two points at the top of the table.

Manchester United, with 29 separate injury complaints, have also lost more players since the start of the season than the Gunners, whose injury concerns have only become a notable concern in more recent weeks.

Wenger has 10 players ruled out for Saturday’s match against Sunderland — the second highest figure in the Premier League after Bournemouth — with Francis Coquelin, Danny Welbeck and Tomas Rosicky not expected back until 2016.

But the total sum of days Arsenal players have lost to injury stands at just 312 days — the seventh lowest figure in the league.

It is also far lower than Arsenal’s figure at this stage last season, which stood at an incredible 1278 days, and puts Wenger under even more pressure at the Emirates.

Newcastle United are the unlucky team that tops the ‘days out through injury’ table, and injuries have undoubtedly contributed to the Magpies making their worst ever start to a Premier League season....................................................................................
Clearly the Medical team are doing such a bad job that the injuries are decreasing Year on Year.

Ukwu Sample supportership.

pls do not try to run a server with internet from a 3G USB Modem.

Its too slow, its unreliable, and not suitable for that type of thing.

besides, you can't forward ports arbitrarily through that type of connection.

secondly, if you want to run a server, its better to be a machine dedicated as a server and not your daily driver laptop/PC.

port forwarding :

system services utilize various ports on your system.

i.e. ftp (File Transfer Protocol) - usually Port 21
http port - usually 80, 8080

this can be set to anything between the acceptable range.

Access to this port means access to the PC/Server and ability to carry out extensive tasks. For instance access to your FTP port means i can remotely access the file system on the server and do whatever i like with it.

For this reason the ports are all closed by default by the firewall.

Port forwarding allows you to open just one or two ports to be accessible remotely via the internet and other devices
which means that you can carry out certain limited tasks remotely without having to access the ports which can directly compromise your PC

an example is to allow you upload files remotely through port 8080 (http) which you ordinarily would have to do via FTP.

Port Forwarding via your USB Modem connection is likely to be difficult/impossible depending on which side of the bed MTN wakes up
