You must flash ur stock kitkat ROM before flashing the CM.
the CM ROM works with kernel 3.4.67 and not 3.10.xx

You cant fix the bugs, as the bugs is across all MTK Platform and again CM12.1 is not yet stable.

Back to the question you asked. You dont have to port, Just enter the recovery mode
click on clean to install new rom
flash the rom
wipe dalvik and cache.
then reboot.

i wonder what is wrong at my end, i did this exactly but when i reboot the phone will light up and white out then go blank.

and i'm not the only one who has this issue with it seemingly..... wonder what is wrong...

I don't think my download is corrupt because i used the MEGA sync tool and i can actually unzip the rom with no issues.

Sad, i could have been of help in improving it but since i can't even boot it.....

Because you have not been able to port it successfully does not mean the rom is bad, many people have ported it and it worked.

it is what am using right now. Always be sure of what you are saying before you make a confirmative statement.

If its the CM Rom i think its bad, i haven't been able to boot it at all myself let alone fix any bug.

If its another rom that was working before than you are doing something wrong. You should not extract the rom. Just open it with winrar, delete the old one in that directory and drag and drop the new one.

You shouldn't have formatted. That was your error.

What you need to do is to:
1. Send it to carlcare.

or if thats not feasible or you out of warranty

2. Flash again.

To do this, open the phone. unscrew it and disconnect the battery from the board gently. BE CAREFUL, dont damage the battery connector.

Now load the scatter file in SP Flashtool, start the flash (as is done normally) then plugin the phone

It will detect it and flash the device.


when done, reconnect the battery and try boot. if its ok, switch it off and return the screws.

if it completes the flash and still does not work, go to carlcare

if it does not flash, check your steps well again.

that port is not good. did you do it yourself?

you need to port the kernel again, and use the stock build.prop

be sure the base you used is from a device with the same MTK chipset as your device MT6592

Oga calm down. There was a port for this device when it was on KitKat, i helped fix some bugs like the 3G bug

The school has a Rector and governing council. and i'm damn sure this school's annual allocation runs into billions of naira. Then add the income they generate from the businesses within the premises and the students.
