mykali: Uhmm, guys. Just need small advice from y'all.

Been using my galaxy note n7000 for a year now. It came with Gingerbread but I updated to ICS. Samsung promised an update to jelly bean but it never came. I love my device a lot although it's been lagging these days. Never rooted it and I don't regret that decision. So what I want to ask is it possible that it could be manually upgraded? I want to enjoy the jelly bean experience but i don't want to dump this phone yet.
r u sure u know what ur saying? jellybean 4.12 was released for the note as far back as november last year.

see no need for drama.

google is ur friend. there are free vpn everywhere u look. the question is getting one that works via d necessary port.

droidvpn worka becos u can specify how to connect. if u find another like that.... kudos to u.

also there is what is known as PPTP vpn and OpenVPN. this are just vpn protocols abi na type sef... cheesy . i no sabi d grammer to use call am.

for any vpn u can instead get the config file and use another app or the built in android vpn client to use these config file.

the issue u will run into again is gettting a file that works via the proper protocol/port. on most servers u also need a username n password...... its no different from using an app. difference is just not using the app. (eg if i could get droidvpn config file id prefer it to using the app that drains battery). i will still need the droid vpn account anyway....

as far as i have tried i havent gotten any totally free one to connect. maybe some guys are lucky...... u are free to try too. all u need is google and commonsense.

naah dudes. i knew this shit a while ago. i be oldtimer for dis game na cheesy

matter of fact there is an app that will fetch u files. most times i seeing Vietnam files etc etc.

u dont even need any app except if u run ICS.

the issue has been i havent seen any that has d right port!! iv tried editing a few to the right port but i guess the service is not listening for dt port.

so what u can actually do me is to tell me exactly how u got one to the right port..........

sometimes debosky just makes me laugh.

I know he knows better sha.

so if any club posts a 50 million pound bid for say ronaldo, that is indicative that such club is serious?

I'm pretty sure like anyone else the thought of arsenal paying 40 million for any player sounds unreal to you. but that's hardly the point. its all for show.

the club values their player above 50 mill for one thing. and unlike arsenal they don't have to sell nor crave the cash above anything else. so a 40 mill bid might look like much to u but really is pissing in d wind

there is also the small matter of actually paying the chap the kind of wages that go with 50 mill valuation.

pricing players and making bids is no big deal. their are very good players available for less than 40 mill. if truly they want to spend.

if ur buying the pricing market trick ur very gullible. end of

biolabee: Dreamers

Wenger is just taking y'all for a ride
exactly. dunno y all these pple just cannot see this smokescreen moves. just creating noise in d media so nobody will say u didn't try for players

in the first place it makes absolutely no sense for arsenal to buy suarez. on so many counts.

he can't wipe robin's boots and u sold robin 11 months ago. and he is surely not worth 40 million.

the guy is an effing liability. the stunts he will pull in d next 2 years to force a move will be astounding.

and more infuriating. if u want to break transfer record by more than double your former outlay u shld be spending it on true proven trophy winning quality. how many world class players have been on the market this window? even those boys playing in Germany. strong mean proven strikers.
if u proposed spending 40 m on lewandowski or cavani then I'd understand.

wenger turn everyone to small pikin dey laff. mcheew.

then try if the servers accept a connect from u.

It's normal

I'm on airtel now, that's why I don't have MTN's time.
I don't know why these carriers don't just learn angry
This is precisely the thing. No one really has the time for the games n shit. Just make it fair n pple will comply. This man is comfy with 1gb on airtel.

Nobody is struggling least of all myself. I don't really NEED it. Weirdly 100mb a day has been sufficient. ....... till I need to do something that it won't be enough then bam. I realise even if I wanted u could not pay for it. Of course I will look for a way to get what i want. Its normal.

ITs not a biggie. But it will happen. And they could have prevented that...

if u know any script that can wrap packets over UDP and has client/server profiles available pls let me know.

I don't know th3 person who decided this crap at MTN but it was a very very very shitty move and the person obviously never learnt from the past.

the best bet was what they had going with the 3gb limit thing. all they had to do was ensure majority were in the limit and the network was at its safest.

pple will always find a way and when u motivate them its double worse. now I can ensure I go unlimited. which was always possible but had no motivation to go out of my way to do really all this while. even worse now I start trying all manners of scripts and stuff on their network. I can guarantee they won't get a sniff of a kb that I transfer unless they have NSA grade crypto and really great engineers which they don't.

mark my worlds their network will collapse in the next 3 weeks. stupid pple.
since airtel did their 1 gb thingy they have had peace.

@muyiscoi. I have no idea. but I suspect they are moving the launch to October and have found oem who can launch a device In October. development has gone so smooth that I'm wondering sef........... its kinda strange to have a dev program go so well.

PhonesRe: All DATA USERS, WAKE UP (CAMPAIGN FOR FAIRNESS) by 4llerbuntu(m): 1:59pm On Jul 19, 2013
bibe: I suggest you all shud go and do a lil homework on how these networks cost their data plans.
As for BB data plans (BIS/BBC) ot might interest you to know that they come cheap because, BBerry formerly known as RIM have servers dedicated for that, and also handles the traffic and compression hence, it doesnt cost MTN, GLO,
please stop saying this nonsense.

THE ONLY THING COMPRESSED ON A BLACKBERRY IS THE BBM, EMAIL AND BROWSER DATA AND THAT IS ACTUALLY END TO END. YOU NEED A BB PIN AND A BB DEVICE TO GET YOUR BBM, EMAIL AND BROWSER DATA COMPRESSED

NOTHING ELSE IS COMPRESSED.

lord of hosts have mercy. NO your data do NOT go through RIM servers. to connect to a RIM server u need a pin and encryption keys only assigned to a bb device and pin.

if you could access a RIM server freely how could it be secure?

what kind of fuckery is this one sef?

the apn is on a MTN server. all u get is separate billing platform on mtn end. and yes they did not restrict it before because you could not use data in large quantities on a bb device before.

the browser had a 5mb file size limit hard coded into it. emails and bbm were compressed in the rim servers before being sent and then uncompressed on the blackberry devices. until you figured out that ucweb could pull data in parallel connections u could not use the data

every other thing that did not use the BB encryption keys passed through normal tcp/ip and u get billed. your monthly subscription just bought your pin access to RiM Server's

the only reason why this has become an issue is that BB10 os actually does not have all such archaic limits and u can actually transparently send all data including encrypted ones over tcp/ip. providers changed their billing system to accomodate it.

that's why the blackberry.net access point exists. it is supposed to be way to IDENTIFY your preferred platform as the MTN/AIRTEL/WHOSEVER BB server.

Anything they do to affect that accesspoint affects every device that tries to use that platform access including bb10 devices.

a possible solution for them is to scrap a separate platform for bb use d same platform for all d3vices. identify connections by means of MSISDN, MAC Address or whatever it is they use to identify your modems and other devices

which will result in the old security issues such as spoofing, wrapping tcp calls in containers and expose the blackberry servers to pple attempting to steal keys from other bb devices on the same access point to send stuff through it

in summary no. RIM does not maintain servers to magically compress your data. your droids, pcs and idevices do not have anything on them by default to decompress any such data. rim does not share its encryption and compression algorithms with anyone to enable them use it.

all u use is mtn bandwidth.

and fyi MTN have a backbone and deep sea fibre access. they don't buy bandwidth.

glo has. they don't buy bandwidth

etisalat has setup efficient link up to their international sat links etc. etisalatbis yet the only network that has issues during heavy rainfall.

airtel. who gives a lying Bleep abt airtel. I dunno what it is they arranged. dead company anyway.

SO PLS STOP REPEATING THIS LIES JOOR. its stoopid
PhonesRe: All DATA USERS, WAKE UP (CAMPAIGN FOR FAIRNESS) by 4llerbuntu(m): 11:38am On Jul 19, 2013
jonesin: i am telin u d reason why bb has unlimited data ova oda device
naaah u are a tech illiterate masquerading as a knowitall.

from your so called explanation you have zero knowledge of what u are saying.

bb servers indeed. so those mythical bb servers magically connect to your phones eh?

and when u download 1mb of data on those magic bb servers its turned into 5kb shey?

how did this myth ever gain prominence sef?

u mean u don't know the difference between end to end compression on the BBM and browser on BlackBerry devices as opposed to data compression?

I just need you to explain how u connect to those magic BlackBerry servers without this mtn bandwidth

and how connections to those servers are different from connections to any other website which incidentally are also located on servers.

clearly u know nada. zero sum of zilch
