RCCG TEEN SUNDAY SCHOOL MANUAL (ZEAL) – GOD OF HONOUR LESSON 50 DATE: SUNDAY 12TH AUGUST, 2018 TOPIC: THE WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT BIBLE TEXT: Revelation 20:11-15 MEMORY VERSE _“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” Revelation 20:15._ CENTRAL TRUTH After death is judgment. There is not repentance after death. INTRODUCTION The great white throne judgment as described in Revelation 20:11-15 is the final judgment before the lost will be cast into the lake of fire. Verse 12 says both small and great appeared before the throne of judgment. This is to say that young people are not exempted. That you are able to distinguish your left from your right and you know what is right and what is wrong, then you are capable of being responsible for your actions. The Bible says after death there is going to be a judgment that will separate us into 2 different places; Heaven or hell. How are you preparing for this day? STUDY GUIDE: What we need to know about this white throne judgment? 1. Every soul living and dead will face the judgment. 2. 2 books will be opened. Revelation 20:12 BOOKS 1 – The books containing the records of our works; whether they are good or bad, because God knows everything that we have ever been said, done or even thought about. And He will reward or punish each one accordingly. Psalm 62:12; Revelation 22:12 BOOK 2 – This is the book of life. Revelation 20:12. It is the book that determines whether a person will inherit eternal life with God or receive everlasting punishment in the lake of fire. 3. ……………………………………… ………………. 4. There will be a second death. Verse 14. 5. Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. LIFE APPLICATION Are you willing to give it all it takes to make heaven? Is your name in the book of life? If yes, congratulations. If no, or you are not sure, you have the opportunity right away to aloe Jesus to write your name in it. That you are still living and you are reading this show that God loves you and He wants you to be saved. Remember there is no opportunity for repentance after death. Make amends and let your name be written in the book of life before it is too late. INVITATION It is only those that have given their lives to Jesus and are washed by His blood that their names are written in the book of life. Is your name there? If not, give your life to Jesus now. DISCUSSION How will you feel if someone you think is a dedicated Christian could not make heaven? CONCLUSION The fact that all men are going to face a final judgment, whether you are a believer or not is clearly confirmed in many passages of the Bible. Stop deceiving yourself. Amend your ways today. It is not the will of our heavenly Father that anyone should perish Matthew 18:14. It is only those that their names are found in the book of life that will enter into the kingdom of God, while anyone that his/her name is not found will be sent to everlasting hell fire. The choice is yours! Prayer Jesus, please help me to reign with You in Your kingdom. |

MEMORY VERSE : James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. TEXT : *Job 42:10* And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. *Romans 8:34* Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. *1 Timothy 2:1-4* I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. *James 5:14-16* Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. PRAYER POINT: Father, grant me the grace to engage in intercessory prayers, Amen. INTRODUCTION: The dictionary defines intercession as "acting between two parties; begging or pleading on the behalf of another; mediating." An intercessor is a go-between, representing one party to another. In intercession, believers go before God and make requests on the behalf of others. Jesus is our intercessor, sitting at the right hand of God the Father, making intercession on our behalf. Romans 8:34. People desperately need our intercessory prayers. Many people are hurting. Many families are dysfunctional. Many churches are stagnated. Many neighbors are living lonely, isolated lives. While we are impotent when it comes to meeting a need, God is omnipotent. He is the all-sufficient One, able to supply any and every need that may arise on earth. To Him we appeal, as we intercede for others. Colossians 1:9-12 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Seven Intercessory Prayers We Can Pray For People, Especially The Unsaved. 1. Pray that they would have an encounter with the Lord Jesus and give their lives to Him. John 4:16-29 2. Pray for the power over sin in their lives. Romans 6:14 3. Pray that they would do God's will in their lives. 4. Pray for them to have a growing relationship with God. Eph. 1:16-19a 5. Pray for productivity in their lives. Gal 5:22-24, John 15:16 6. Pray for their protection. John 17:9-16 7. Pray for them to be on fire for the Lord. Rev. 3:15-16 CONCLUSION : Something always happens when we intercede. It may not always be exactly what we pray for. We may not always see the answer, but God, true to his promise, acts in response to our prayers in ways that are in line with His character, promises and His good plans for the lives of the people we pray for. PRAYER POINTS: 1. Thank God for His wonderful works. 2. Pray for the church. 3. Pray for our Country. 4. Pray for our missionaries. 5. Pray for those you know who do not know Christ. 6. Pray for the sick and those mourning that the Holy Spirit should heal and comfort them. 7. Pray for Daddy G.O. and his family. GOLDEN DIET FOR THE WEEK MONDAY : 1 Timothy 2:1.
