~Killz~:Maybe he really did work late, come on!!! I also worked late yesterday but still managed to dash down to a shop and get a calvin klein perfume for dear hubby, I got a set of towels and a picture frame with one of our wedding pictures in it |
This thread got me rolling in the deep! You guys catch think far shaaaa, and all the weird answers not even let me think of answer, just laughing till tears fall out of my eyes! |
Pls state that you were refused twice with the reasons on your forms, I don't think it will hurt to write that you knw someone there just that you may not be visiting them |
Booking hotel is better, use booking.com, but the issue now is credit card. Most hotels prevalidate ur credit card, and if it is not accepted they many cancel your hotel booking while your visa is being processed, here is the scope, get the phone number of the hotel, keep tabs on them to make sure they haven't cancelled your booking. Please also check your mailbox everytime cos they usually send a mail for confirmation before cancelling your booking. If you get that mail, call the hotel and prevail on them not to cancel the booking.just sharing my experience. I was lucky because my case was a renewal and it took just 2days to renew. By the time the hotel cancelled I already had my visa. But 1st timers are sent to abuja and it can take up to 2wks or more before your visa is ready. Just use your personal acct and biz registration. For me I used queens hotel in bromley, crystal palace, I think that is in south east london |
I think personal income tax clearance is very important. Is your business registered? That's another important factor o! |
Google work force, I really don't have their website, you can also go with your cv to workforce office in gbagada, pedro bustop, near ups. Just say you want to attend the business banker or personal banker interview. I guess it is still going on, best of Luck and I wish you Godspeed! |
try and send your cv to access bank, also stanbic is recruiting via workforce, so you can apply through work force and they will call you for interview |
the young man has refused to go and get his PSW and maintains he wants to use visit visa just to go for his graduation and come back home. my friend also has a psw and refused to go back to UK Please what exactly is the problem with UK? why is everybody running back home? He just sed he has job interview today and i should let him focus on getting a job here. jennykadry:Yes my dear, I dated an Akatarian for 3yrs, wasted my time. Nobody told me anything, I shined my eyes well well. arranged myself a homebased player, and I am pleasantly and happily married to him. Moral of the story, Akatarian, if you really wanna marry her, send your family to her family with kolanut for primary assignment |
thanks, but can we use a Nigerian account? Because he withdrew all the funds in the UK account before he left. |
ajalaolanr:so because they are looking out for their daughter's welfare, instead of waiting for an Akatarian she dated for 6yrs, they are now bad in laws? I bow for you o! |
Thank, Please what documents will he need, i just called him now, he said he has not maintaied the 2800 pounds in his UK account for the 3 months period. so he feels he may not meet up with the PSW deadline. Is there a way we can go around it? because i really need him out of my hair in Naija ![]() |

hi, my brother just finished his masters in Uk and returned to Nigeria before his visa expired. He still has accomodation there and is still expecting his results. Also, his graduation is in a few months. How do we renew his visa? Should he apply for a visiting visa? He came back to Nigeria because he heard that the UK has scrapped the PSW visa frm 2012, so he came home pending when can get a UK job. |

those of you that say that it is impossible for him to make a 1st Class with 4.23 CGPA, well when I was in Uniben(i dont know if that has changed, 400level made up for 55% CGPA (100 level is 5%, 200level is 15%, 300level is 25%)so for him to have 4.23 CGPA now, the guy is already frolicking with 1st Class, if he can get a lot of B's and A's in 400level. It worked for me ![]() |
the guy should leave netherlands for other "friendlier" european countries na! see suffer!! |
okay, I am a woman but I have to contribute my 2 cents. Marriage has a way of obtaining God's favour, I just got married in December (officially) but ever since my husband made the decision to get married, things began to work in his favour. He lost his job 2 years ago, and still went ahead and did our introduction, immediately after that, he miraculously opened a small business. That business today now has police escorts! just two years down the line. Now, i am even tempted to resign my job and join that business, cos it seems to be bringing in most of our family income. After the wedding just barely two months ago, more miracles are happening! Bottomline is put God first, God adores the marriage institution and blesses any man (and woman) that takes that bold step. You dont need a million bucks to lavish on your wedding.(our wedding cost the both of us onlyN150k, as family and friends pitched in over N2m to arrange everything, but dont rely on that, we were just very fortunate, now we are putting the wedding money we had saved up into other plans) Go to registry, cost less than 10k with pictures, then do family engagement. Shikena You will need the money for the future. P.S: do not get married until you have steady income and a roof over your head, even if it is a miniflat or even self contain. If she is your wife, she will understand and stick by you, if she is not, she wont wait for you. |

Hi house, Please who can advice which embassy to use to get student visa to Luxembourg from Nigeria. The school mentioned Belgium embassy but I heard belgium is very eccentric and they usually delay in processing visas. Can I apply through France or German embassy? I will be grateful for your help |
Omo_Tier1:God bless you Omo_tier1. The story has taken another twist. They just called me from the BDHC, asking questions about my application. After all the plenty talk they said they have decided to give me the visa, but I must show up on the 5th of January, 2012 in person for a compliance check, with evidence that my wedding took place, whether i have gone to the UK or not. She said she is putting a memo on my visa on the system in that regard. Will this action be detrimental or advantageous to my husband's application. Also, do you think we should put in his application before this 5th of January date or after I report to the BDHC. I should be getting my passport by tommorrow, should we still carry on as you have adviced and ignore this new development? Please what is your email so that you can help me with the introduction letter |
Omo_Tier1:thanks for your response. That was the whole idea in the first place but a lady i met advised that i get my visa renewed 1st, and then use my visa and supporting documents in his application, since he is self employed and doesnt have employment records. She also said I should include our wedding invitation card, and luckily i have included all his details in my application for renewal. Do you think he stands a chance using this method? |
Hi, guys, Please Please reply to this my question. I have just applied for a tourist visa to UK. I actually was there last year for a 2 weeks vacation, but this time i want to go on honeymoon, wedding is this weekend. I applied alone because mine is just a renewal. Problem is applying for my husband. Personally, he doesnt want to go to UK for the honeymoon, I am just the one making it a big deal. He is self employed, opened a biz last yr, we have a joint acct together with like 700k balance. I put the wedding IV in my application and made several references to him that we will go together. How to I package it properly so that he doesnt get refused? |
