For instance I know of a couple who choose to stay separate because the husband can't sleep without ac on full blast while the wife is very sensitive to cold. So they stay in different rooms but are very okay with it.

Personally I'm not sure I'll want to stay in same room with wify when I eventually marry.

I'm an intensely private person, and being in same room with someone 24/7 will surely get on my nerves

By doing these you are bringing separation that is not suppose to be. Husbands and wife must have access to 2 or more rooms they want to stay in at any time.

I used to hate the idea of me and wify staying in separate rooms, but since my baby became a year old, it's been pretty compact for 3 of us in same room. So wify sleeps with the baby in the other room and I sleep alone. Now I've come to like it.
