I can't find any iphone specific topic quickly & i need this now. I just finished jailbreaking my iphone 3g with snowbreeze & it's fine, well except for the part where the sim is inaccessible. Every other thing is working. It shows one network bar one minute, 'no service' the next. I can't figure dis one out. Any help?

I just hacked the phone and i realized that every time i always have problem with java applications mostly opera. I hardly have any of these modded operas on my phone and it though installed but if i try to launch the application, it is either not open at all or/ and if i switch the phone, i may see that the application's disappeared. Most of these problems i had were always with opera. So i find it difficult to browse with operas. Pls help me! In fact i installed opera mini 6.1 from opera site and it's still the same.

Have you tried a soft reset?

Yes

Try a HARD-RESET

NOTE: Make a backup for all your important info; remove memory card also as this process will delete all user info.

Follow these instructions:

* At the standy screen tyype in: *#7370#

It will ask "restore all phone settings-phone will restart . . ."

*confirm this by pressing ok

Then it will ask for security code; the default security code => 12345


Hopefully this will work and you can re-install your favourite apps their-after.

Try visiting your local Engineer or Nokia Care shop as there might be more given the syptoms your phone seemingly displays. Goodluck

I'm sorry to say this. I once experienced this with my N70. Am afraid it wont work again no matter what you did on that fone. Even if you upgrade its firmware it won't work. Also format will not work.

At odumharry, although d fone is repairable bt is kinda complex n d price is high. Even d part is scarce

Have been AWOL for a long time and am back n beta to serve d phone section beta.

Which version do u use? U can flash it wit higer version it,wil work but not wit usb port.

U can view pdf on symbian,android n iphone. Its possible wit some java fone bt it doesnt mske sense on them.

Are u using java or symbian fone? if symbian, after hard reset u stilll get d same problem, u may upgrade d OS or flash it.

i used LTA 300.21.012 v5,b4 i flashd it it wil both to nokia and then restart afta flashin it,wen i turn it on it jst display white and of it self.i flash wit usb.is ther stil hop 4 d fone to work again?

U will have to flash it with fbus cable n higher version.
