Is it possible for me to tell the VO that my POD(Point of Departure) from Nigeria is next year February when she ask me. I hope there is no red-mark in it.

I don't wish to Travel to US this year, I applied for B1/B2 Visa since last year June.

They will see you POD in their system. If they feel that your travel date is still far, you will be reschedule before your interview date. The.most important thing is to know where you are going, why and what you plan to do there.

Please I need information about Dropbox for US Visa. My mum qualifies for Dropbox and I have filled necessary forms and made payment but I am not able to pick a date for an appointment. I didn't know Dropbox requires booking a date to dropoff the passport.

It is no longer called Dropbox but interview waiver. Yes you need to search for a date to drop your passport.

Carry all document that can support what you filled in the DS-160 form. Although they hardly ask to see document for B1/B2 visa. It always good to be on side of caution than to be sorry later.

I applied same day as with my friend , he got his in 10days. Not much changed with mine. I emailed ConsularAbuja@state.gov and requested for my passport.
They called a few days after and asked me to pickup at the embassy. Mine took 5 weeks from Dropbox to pickup

can i please see the email you sent?? i do not know what to do ... should i be scared?? i applied for an f1 visa and my program starts the 9th of august and my passport/visa is still with the us embassy and on administrative processing

I had same challenge for more than a week.
Keep checking, any time of day your spirit leads you. I got mine around 1700hrs yesterday. Just logged on and saw dates for April 2024 Abuja.
I will keep checking for earlier dates so I can reschedule.

Please house I need help with my US profile , I applied for a B2( Medical Visa) I picked a date so I can use emergency request form but it’s not on my profile , the cancel and reschedule appointment also was remove from my profile .
I can really do anything to be able to get date quickly .
