I only mentioned the akwa ibom stadium and specialist hospital as two of few standard structures in Nigeria . the 21 story highrise at akwa ibom and the ones at Lagos , abuja and elsewhere and few roads does not stop Nigeria and akwa ibom from being shithole .

There are more to development than what Akwa Ibomites are happy about. Well AKS is growing and we are all happy about it, however it's not there yet, it hasn't gotten to the level of Delta yet. If Delta continue at its present rate and AKS continues like this in the near future it will get there.

Dont get me wrong, AKS is one of the states I love, infact it's a state after my heart simply because it gives me something 99% of the places in Nigeria cant including my beloved Rivers. That's serenity. Each time I go to Uyo I feel clean compared to other places in naija. The environment is well taken care of, less garbage on the streets, less touts, street hawking is not as common as other places in Nigeria, the hustler way of life you'll find in Lagos or PH is not there
Everyone is just chilling and laid back. No traffic and security is fair.
However development is beyond this. There are many indices which Delta still trumps AKS in. Note that IK is another story all together. As for Eket and Ibeno I see them as just settlements. Cant be compared to Warri, Sapele or Ughelli in any aspect.
