No zone alone can make its candidate win presidential election in Nigeria. Yorubas voted for Olu Falae in 1999 while other Nigerians voted for Obasanjo and OBJ won. Yorubas voted for Awolowo in 1979 and 1983, other Nigerians voted for Shagari on both occasions and Shagari won. NW voted for Buhari in 2003 and 2007, while other Nigerians voted for Obasanjo, and OBJ won. As you can see, it doesn't matter who the Igbos will vote for, what will determine the winner is who majority of Nigerians vote for.

If APC selects Igbo candidate and Yorubas vote for him including northerners and of course some others in SE and SS, then why won't he win?
