prowest: Oga stop trying to conjure ewedu statistics. yoruba votes have failed 8 times out of 11 national elections. Go and check your records. The fake statistics you are parading is based on your utopian delusions. you are the biggest electoral losers when we take the history of elections in holistic context. Stop assuming others have poor memory and cannot remember your history. yoruba voted awolowo in 1959, he failed. yoruba voted him against shagari, he failed. yoruba voted him again he failed. yoruba voted falae he failed, you voted ACN, in 2007, it failed, your party also failed in 2011. You are dishonestly making assumption by pretending the states in North are tired of ruling Nigeria. fa....fa....fa..fa...foul! Have the north told you they are tired of ruling Nigeria? Why should they vote a yoruba kaffur and infidel when they can ally with the SE and SS and keep themselves in power? Why? If the yoruba were the north will they share power, when we all know that yorubas are greedy in politics? That's why you oppose the Eastern interests and betrayed the SS. Mention one northern leader that is campaigning for yoruba as we speak? The North+SE+SS are voting the North against whoever yorubas throw up in APC. You can cry to UNPO after that, it won't change a thing yoruba won't be president in 2023. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

SW almajiris are political opportunists who don't give a damn about how wickedly there neighbours are treated, provided they see an opportunity to benefit. Honour is not a part of their creed. As far 2023 is concerned, Yorubas are on a wild goose chase. If they can't sacrifice their own inordinate ambition for common good of all then why would they expect the North to do same? People should reason this critically, it doesn't make sense to say the least. 3 Likes |

myboy2111: Prowest did you see that picture on this guy's comment? That is exactly what will play out in 2023. yorubas don't have the numbers to make themselves president. The north will not vote yoruba infidel against a Northerner, and yorubas cannot convince the SS or SE to vote for them, you already know why. So yorubas are the orphans here. Power remains in the north if APC gives yorubas the ticket, instead of the East. There is nothing you all can do about that. As an Igbo man, I feel more secure with the honest north in power than a yoruba snake. Let the games begin. You can only cry to UNPO after your destined failure in 2023 and we will be here to laugh and mock you as you do to others. 4 Likes 1 Share |

proeast: Once PDP follow suits, your people will abandon the APC candidate and vote for the PDP candidate. So tell me, why should APC give its ticket to an Igbo person since you have no intention of voting for the party? Why should APC commit such a political suicide? You actually think the leaders of APC are foolish or what? 12 Likes 3 Shares |

Sammy07: You look at issues from a simplistic point of view instead of looking at them critically. Based on justice, fairness and equity, it is the turn of the Igbos. Now, if the rulling party should endorse that reality, PDP as a party that believes in zoning will have no other choice than to follow suit. How is that so hard for you to understand? 3 Likes |

proeast: Oga you were right, yorubas think they are smart. They are painting a SW vs SE presidential contest that will never happen. If zoning is still in order, then all tickets must come East. If yorubas get in APC then it means zoning is dead and the North has a right to contest and they will win with an Eastern VP like Shagari did Alex against the awolowo. No amount of fake crocodile tears, mockery and cries from yorubas will help them avoid the North in PDP if they grab the ticket in APC. That na surebanker. Many core northern states are core PDP and that tell us their intention for 2023. yoruba will not be president in 2023. Let them write it down. Politics in nigeria is not rocket science, the next president won't be yoruba. 1 Like |

Gabkosh: He lost the north, he lost the polls. In the same vein may I also ask why yoruba votes failed 8 times in 11 national polls? Why were you yoruba unable to make Awolowo, falae, Gani fahwehimi etc president with all your touted sophistication and political intellect? How come everyone yorubas ever voted failed from 1959 till 2015 (which was just yesterday) Aren't you yoruba ashamed that a 6 year old child knows when yoruba votes started winning elections which was in 2015, after spending 100 years in Nigeria? 1 Like 1 Share |

proeast: Lol, Zoning yet you didn't allow Yar'adua (North) to finish their tenure? Why did GEJ contested? shouldn't he have step down and allow a northern candidate to contest in 2011? Apc and PDP are two different parties. in PDP, it's the turn of north in Apc it's the turn of south simple 9 Likes 2 Shares |

seunmsg: No zone alone can make its candidate win presidential election in Nigeria. Yorubas voted for Olu Falae in 1999 while other Nigerians voted for Obasanjo and OBJ won. Yorubas voted for Awolowo in 1979 and 1983, other Nigerians voted for Shagari on both occasions and Shagari won. NW voted for Buhari in 2003 and 2007, while other Nigerians voted for Obasanjo, and OBJ won. As you can see, it doesn't matter who the Igbos will vote for, what will determine the winner is who majority of Nigerians vote for. If APC selects Igbo candidate and Yorubas vote for him including northerners and of course some others in SE and SS, then why won't he win? If both parties bring out Igbo candidates, what will now determine the winner will be who is more popular among Nigerians and not who the Igbos vote for. APC will always have an edge since they are the ruling party but once they go for a yoruba candidate, they will become massively unpopular. 5 Likes 1 Share |

seunmsg: Which is why APC should fish for a sound Igboman. If APC gives its ticket to personalities like Okorocha or Orji Kalu, then this will definitely backfire. But if APC is sensible enough to shop outside the party and bring in credible people who Igbos trust will run the affairs of this nation judiciously, there is no reason Igbos won't support such a person. If APC presents people like Ngige or Ogbonnaya Onu. Or perhaps shop for outsiders like Kingsley Moghalu, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Festus Odimegwu, maybe even Pat Utomi (even though I don't like him for being too pro-Buhari), then APC will have as much chance as the PDP 4 Likes |

Today they scream Amotekum at the top of their voice, even Tinubu because of 2023 was not here or there when he was asked for his opinion on Amotekun.
