sounds like a gentle man..though your story sounds zee worldish .And as for saying u expected him to bug u on ur inbox as most naija guys do..why would he do such? he clearly has a job to face and one breakup wont now make him be pestering u on inbox. To me its mostly jobless men who pester women on inbox and on the street when such women have made up their mind. You hardly see a man who has job or something going for him pestering women all about. Its jobless men who do such. 12 Likes |

Here is mine.
There's this naval officer I met years back in Port Harcourt. We were sitting opposite each other in a wedding reception but from a distance. The way he was looking at me, I knew he had something to tell me. He was very neat from head to toe. I love neat and smart people. I guess that was what made be fell easily for him.
He was a shy type. He couldn't even approached me. So he gave someone his number to give me. Immediately the piece of paper where he wrote his number was handed over to me, he left his seat. I didn't see him again till I left the venue. Some days passed, I call his number and he picked. We started talking till we became more familiar and wanted something more so we dated. He was every caring.
The first day he invited me to his house, I thought he will demand for sex like most Nigerian men do but to my surprise he didn't. Throughout my dating time with him, he never requested for sex. Sex would just happened. The way he showered me love made me became so emotionally attached to him. There were moments I could not go a day without setting my eyes on him. He was so meek and down to earth. He told me if he wasn't in the military he would be a pastor.
After months of dating him, trouble set in. He wasn't having time for me anymore due to the nature of his work. I was in a relationship but I was lonely. He will go for months and I won't hear from him.
There was a time he told me he was going for two weeks operation and after two weeks he will be back.
Two weeks came and gone I didn't hear from my love. A month came and gone still didn't hear from him. After 3 months I heard a news that militants attacked Nigerian Naval officers I knew my love was among them. I would cry myself to sleep. I later put myself together and moved on.
Two years later he called me. I was shocked. I didn't believe he was the one so I requested to see him in person. He came all the way to PH. When I saw him at first, I wanted to run because I thought he was his ghost. He proved to me that he was real and not a ghost then told me everything that happened.
Right there I told him I've moved on and I can't continue again. He knelt down and begged me to marry him I told him I can't. That he is not always around me.
He left that day in tears. I unfriend him on my Facebook and he didn't bug me like most Nigerian men would do after telling them it's over they still come to your inbox disturbing you. He was so so cool and a quiet type.
Today I went to Facebook, I just decided to chat him up. I was shocked by what I saw on his timeline.
Rest on my love. It was a beautiful love story which ended tragically. |

Dating a female soldier is actually a very wonderful experience.
It gives you a bit of protection beccause civilians will be afraid to do you wrong.
So you are save with her.
Another thing is that a military lady is feared and respected by civilians.
So if you are able to date her, your fear for her will add to the pleasure you will enjoy with her.
Remember that we are attracted to things that frighten us, things that can discipline us.
The fear for these things add to our pleasure, according to phycologists.
Imagine a dark skin,no nonsense female soldier who is feared and respected by all.
And you are able to friend her. It is one of the best things to happen to a man.
Getting some one whom you fear and who possesses the capacity to harm or discipline you,and making her to love you and be your girl friend,is the greatest pleasure you can find.
I speak from experience.
Marrying a young female no nonsense soldier is my dream. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

LadySarah: My inlaws cousin married a soldier. Just after their marriage he was called for an operation. She took in and had a baby that should be over 3 yrs ow but hasn't seen her dad. Nobody has heard from him since 4 yrs now. The baby too later died.
My sis just told me the girl remarried early this yr. Wow! Just like that.
Since then when I see pre-wedding photos of soldiers with their brides, I feel sad for them. Nigerian military was very sweet like oil company job until Northern politicians and Islamic extremists joined together and formed Boko Haram!! Instead of Nigerian soldiers to pour their anger on Northern Muslims who created Boko Haram with their extreme Islamic doctrines of decades which made Northern youths easy tools for Islamic extremists, they rather come to southern Nigeria to kill, intimidate and extort law abiding Southern Nigerian youths who are after their financial success and happiness in life!!! Northern Nigeria is the reason Nigeria is gradually turning to Afghanistan and they don't even feel bad about it, instead they brag in their wickedness and Islamic extremism instead of looking for ways to even do away with Islam or extreme Islamic practice to make their region safe for them again 13 Likes 1 Share |
