Jesus likens pure worship to a tree planted by God {John 15:1} every tree have two sides just like a coin.
GIFT and FRUIT!
Let's first discuss on the GIFT of a Tree.
A tree could be big with strong roots, large leaves, can grow in any part of the earth under any atmospheric condition. It leaves, body and roots can be useful for curing sicknesses. Humans, animals and birds can rest under it's shadows during the heat of day, it could also dispense nice fragrance so that everyone feels refreshed under it's huge leaves. All these are gifts that could be found in thousands of trees in the forest. God's word foretold that by the time Christianity is born this new born child like a new tree will display GIFTS e.g miraculous healings, visions, dreams, speaking in strange tongues and so on. Of course this is a sign that God has just established a new covenant with the nation of Israel {Joel 2:28-30 compare to Act 2:16-18} But because there are thousands of pagan religions (TREES) having similar GIFTS, Apostle Paul made us understand that these GIFTS will be short-lived in Christianity! 1Corinthians 13:8-10

That's why Jesus told his disciples that the GIFTS will serve as a sign that God has approved his sacrificial death, and Christianity has been approved as the means of salvation. {Luke 10:18-19} but Satan will make lots of imitations to confuse future interested persons so identifying Jesus' GROUP out of many false religions claiming Christians will be hard. Matthew 13:25
So for the benefit of interested persons who truly wants to join Jesus' disciples in the future he said "By their FRUIT" you will distinguish between Satan's imitations and Jesus' GROUP Matthew 7:15-20

The FRUIT of a tree is it's IDENTITY, people may choose to start arguing over an orange tree and lime tree because of their similarities. But please pluck the fruit anywhere you find it and the TASTE will prove what type of tree it is!

But because they're under the control of God's Holy Spirit imperfect humans from different races will come together and you will notice that as ONE BODY all the qualities of God's Holy Spirit will be complete IN THEIR GROUP!

Jacob wrestled with an angel, very correct. Jacob also saw God, equally correct. The bible makes this clear.

Well if you agree with my explanation regarding the FRUIT of God's Holy Spirit then these are the questions that can help sincere and honest hearted individuals identify the GROUP that perfectly befits this description.

[1] I'm black and African, will my religion/Church permit me to pick up weapons against people from other races at the order of selfish politicians? Mark 12:31
[2] Am i contented with what my religion promised me regarding the future or my religion promotes accumulation of material possessions? Luke 18:18-23
[3] Is there PEACE amongst those taking the lead in my religion? Is this PEACE permeating the entire group globally? John 14:27
[4] What is my religion teaching me about worldly achievements? Am i happily and patiently anticipating the coming of God's Kingdom? Matthew 6:10
[5] Can members of my religion engage in any kind of protest against the authorities? Romans 13:1
[6] Am i under any obligation towards unbelievers in my neighbourhood? Matthew 10:11-13
[7] Does the teachings in my religion promotes fearlessness? Matthew 10:28; John 11:25-26
[8] As a religionist am i free to practice hooliganism? 1Peter 3:15
[9] How many times have members of my religion been involved in cases due to lack of self discipline? 2Timothy 2:15

The above 9 questions will help each person know if his/her religion befits what could rightly be called Christianity!

After considering the first three questions, i realized some twenty six years ago that Islam can't be the group Jesus talked about, that's why i began searching for Jesus' GROUP though it took me 18 years more before i said goodbye to Islam.
