Shouldn't be a big deal. Urhobo, Isoko, Ika and Ndokwa are the same thing.

I really do not believe the bolded statement. Which of them will qualify as a bona fide part of Republic of Igbo land?

Mosogar is an Urhobo Clan, but Orogun never migrated from there, Orogun was founded by the daughter of Efe whose brothers also founded (Owolukpo) Abbi, Amai, and Umukwata. According to Oral history, Efe was a great warrior who fought several wars/battles.

What do you mean by Urhobo and Isoko are Igbos by Extension? Don't miseducate the general public please, if you have no knowledge about the subject matter, sit aside and learn instead of displaying this level of ignorance.
Chill. An Urhobo man formed Abbi, Amai and Umukwata?? shocked Popsie must hear this as my great-grandfather was a one time Okpala-Uku and my family are custodians of a lot of the oral history of the Ukwuani. I find this very hard to believe

They want to co-opt the south-south into their secessionist agenda by fire by force. They have 5 states so let them agitate and manage themselves like that.

Who determined what is crime and criminality? If all the prisons in the shithole called Nigeria is situated in Igbo land and filled to brink with Igbo peeps, I could have given a second thought to such idiotic retort. Anyway it is not hard to uncover the delusion when Igbo land is termed Biafra.

Efe is known as Efi in Ukwuani, Ishi, to be sincere, I can't really say if Efe/Efi was an Urhobo or Ukwuani man, but the Efi character married an Ughelli woman whose descendants formed the Orogun kingdom. The fact accepted by all communities is that, Orogun, Abbi, Amai and Umukwata all came from the same source. I believe Umukwata was the eldest.

You can inquire more from your family and educate some of us, we are willing to learn.

Umukwata, means children of 'Ukwata', so since the eldest child was Umukwata, then there is no way a man can be called 'Umu' (children) which is the plural form of 'nwa' (child). You see my point?

The annual festival of masquerades and idols in Abbi is even called 'Ukwata Abbi', so who/what is Ukwata? We will find out.

I'm not even against whatever they fight for, I just avoid some topics completely, but I find it offensive when you try to erase the identity of some groups who are distinct from you in every way.

You can fight whatever you want to fight without trying to coerce unrelated and uninterested groups. Life shouldn't be hard.

They will not hear that one but are quick to jump into every thread discussing the culture of southern groups and try to force their identities on people who have no interest in identifying with them.

Yes you're right. Never knew the name is Eriwin. Sometimes it even goes beyond the expected to enforce certain things. I'll give you a story which happened to our neighbor.

Their daughter a teenager at the time started seeing men and began sleeping around. This girl had the guts to sleep with her boyfriends in her parent's matrimonial bed! Then it struck! The mum was struck with madness. Having no history of madness in the family, they went to inquire what caused it and it was revealed what was going on.

Now see the thing. It struck the mother with madness because it saw her as the one doing the act simply because she should have taught her daughter that the bed is sacred. Long story cut short, the appeasement was done, and the girl was thrown out of the home. The father disowned her and they had to leave the environment because it was a very big scandal. So the workings of that thing can be mysterious and unpredictable.

Nowadays, these traditions no longer hold water, I've seen Urhobo women cheat and yet, nothing bad has happened to her familym It all boils down to the modernization of the traditional rites, they purposely omit some important aspects of the culture which I will write on soon.

Yes and it's very serious. A young man was poisoned by his roommate, an Orogun person too. Their houses were just minutes apart back home, over some misunderstanding at school.

The boy's family treated this young man going by the diagnosis the hospital gave being typhoid when they brought him home sick from school. The boy slipped into a coma and died. They didn’t know the cause. The boy was buried immediately and the family left to mourn their dead.

But about a week and half after, this boy who poisoned the other ran out of their home screaming that he'd talk. When asked what happened, he said Erose slapped him. Then he spilled everything that happened and how he poisoned this young man- his roommate. After his confession, he died right there at the spot and that was how everyone knew what happened. I'd have called it a story, if I wasn't a witness.

Orogun people know this which is why Onukpo, Umusu and the other quarters have never ever had a fight or clash since time immemorial because they are siblings and siblings don't kill themselves.

This is a very strong bound but sadly, it only applies to Orogun. Presently there is a communal clashes between some quarters in Ughelli, imagine brothers killing brothers.

Sad.

From this, we can all conclude that Ukwata was the father or ancestral home of Abbi, Amai and Efe/Efi, maybe when his children moved out to create other kingdoms, the Eldest child remained.

If the above holds, then our the next question is, where was Ukwata from? I leave this to Orogun and Ukwuani indigenes to unravel.

They are busy forcing false Identity on Ika people, but we will continue to reject them. They even went ahead and said IKA-IGBO is the new identity for IKA people, and they don't know it makes them look foolish.
They said Gen lucky Irabor is fulani, his wife is a hausa woman.where as,both Irabor and his wife are Ika people, and christains by religion.

Yes,we are all inter related,If you look at Ika people today,If check where our ancestors came from you see that majority came from benin, followed by esans, then Ndokwa, aniocha,Igala and then small percentage of Igbo traders who settled among us.
Yet we don't claim any of them,we only acknowledge them.

There is a certain family in owa-oyibu my father told me about, the man is an Igbo man that came and settled there and married a native of the land. Before his death he told the children to bury him in owa-oyibu and they did,and his children see theirself as ika today.
