[quote author=Raxxye]Hi people. I got admission again for an MSc prog in a German school. The school specifically mentioned that it takes very long to process German visa in Nigeria and Pakistan, and therefore advised me to start applying as soon as possible. Question is: how long does it take to process a German visa? I‘m billed to commence in October, and at the moment, I‘m yet to raise enough for the blocked account. If you‘ve got an idea, kindly help with the info. Thanks.[/quot you open a block acount first... Ur programmes start october and uv been admisson now? Please experienced fellows should analyse my situation, I'm currently studying electrical and electronics engineering at Kwame Nkrumah Uni of technology kumasi, Ghana. I'm doing my final semester dis semester and would graduate by November 2013, from my calculations I'll be graduating with a second lower 3.06/4 a second upper is from 3.2/4. I want to do Msc electrical engineering, will I be accepted into the top universities? I'm considering Achen, Munich and Bremen. Also I would not do Nysc as I plan on applying as soon as I'm done, will this affect my Visa chances? Money is not a problem

I'm writting duiburg essen and rhein wall uni about this particular issue and will ask at goethe tomorow and let u know becuz its something I need to clarify where u @ kelly abeg Yarn on the issue
Plus a replacement for diploma is a result from SAT,IJMB and those A'level exams
The truth of the matter is that u cannot qualify for most of the German university admission with only waec or neco cos the competition is very high and remember that a lot of more qualified people from different countries are applying so I will advise you to have A'level or diploma or first year university grade to be on the saver side. Schs like rhine waal told me this so I am speaking from experience. They told me with only O'level, one can only be admitted into their one year preparatory class and Embassy prefers direct entry into 100 level.
I appplied with my Neco and Diploma and got the admission. Although na God sha no be by power. So even though u see schools requiring only O'level, try add some additional qualification to increase your chances since competition is high. Though few sch accepts only waec or neco if u can find them. But if u don't have additional qualification and not willing to write A'level, just apply with what u have and leave the rest for God. Have a nice week!

The goethe institute of language,I will advice u to google it so that u will have more info abt them.

I am for the evening classes, and they are recognise worldwide as an offshoot of german embassy.

I just observe that it seems impossible to get admission with only nigeria olevel, expecially in a free tuition skool, cos of the fierce competition, and very limited space.

Congrats to you. The Blocked account is actully the main challenge and the reason I missed out on last year‘s offer. I‘m trusting God for the money this time around.
When will u begin ur visa application?

another question Sir smiley Do you have the timetable? Do you have the option of choosing available days for ur class? I reside in Abeokuta at the moment and my biz is also base here. I wnt to shuttle btw Lag n Abk for this class, but on the timetable I only see:
Morning Classes: 8.30am - 2.00pm -2 times / week

Afternoon Classes: 2.30pm - 5.50pm 3 times / week

Evening Classes: 6.00pm - 8.30pm 4 times / week
I think I can go for the morning classes,if only I have options of choosing the days to suit my schedule
anybody with clue?
Re: German Embassy And Visa by flange: 4:50pm On Jan 14, 2013

It takes maximum of 3 weeks to get ur account open with Deutsch bank, 3 days to get confirmation after transfering the money from Nigeria and 3 weeks to get visa after your interview appointment. So when u total it you will have close to 7 weeks for visa processing.

suxes2005: Guys be careful when applying for your visit visa to Germany
Even Student visa as well.

You must use a reputable Insurance company. A friend was refused because
of the insurance company he used. I will advice you guys to always use
Hygiea insurance... www.insurvisa.com is their website. Check the price
there and visit their office for payment.

Towards a better 2013.
