Buy charcoal and place it at strategic points in the car. Rats can smell the charcoal and will be fooled into thinking that the place is burning.

They will not return. I had a similar issue last year while in Nigeria. I saw a post here and did the same thing.

Try to get Rat poison of any type (but I recommend Soo le). You would be doing max burial for those rats the following day!

Put a big cat in there,one that is very good at catching rats in car engines.

To imagine I just saw two rats in my engine not long ago. Parked the car for 2days, decided to warm the engine today, opened the bonnet and to my amazement, two big rats popped out. Omo I fear o.
Had to drive it round for some mins to be sure them no chop any wire as I wan carry am travel

I would suggest you dip charcoal in diesel and place in strategic positions in d vehicle. Also endeavour to carry this out perhaps weekly or as often as u recall. Its more reliable than charcoal alone.

Yap, that's why they call me Mr Perfect in my hostel. I always make sure my room or anywhere I live is clean and fresh 24/7. I don't take it lightly with friends that try to mess up my room....Some of them get angry when I give them my rules and regulations but they are used to me now.

Place charcoal around the engine,they will never near that car again

Use the car regularly. No rats can survive in a hot engine.
