This company was started and incorporated in 2016 in Nigeria. It has no history or record of similar investment. It’s supposed to be a Chinese company but the name sounds Japanese. What’s Hendai and why the name? Why not use a local name? The project seems suspicious in my opinion, a company undertaking this magnitude of project should have not just a track record but a trusted website. They seem to be only active on Facebook. It’s just so yahooish in my opinion…like a conduit to siphon fund. These are the people behind Hendai… 1 Like

"A multibillion dollars modern city development project promoted by the Chinese investors , Hendai Investment Limited, is coming to oil rich Akwa Ibom state, it was gathered. The mouth watering project is billed to straddle on the landmass of 120 hectares at Ikot Andem Itam, adjacent to the automobile company, Itu local government area of the state." Scam project! This proposed investment project as advertised comes straight from Udom Emmanuel supporters--- known for saying good things to make their pay Master, Mr Udom Emmanuel to look good . Five years ago, these same people, talking Chinese housing project, were in Nairaland promoting pencil factory that never came to Akwa Ibom state. Days later, we found a warehouse in Akwa ibom stocked with already made pencils. So, please don't believe this story about Chinese investor-----coming to invest in the state. Like in the past, it is the same old story that never bore fruits. 1 Like |

Ilaumoh: This is a welcome development. Nigeria-China cooperation is what we want. Not cooperation with British colonists who invaded Nigeria in 1857 and looted the country dry - UK and France have nothing to offer Nigeria and Africa. British colonists came as election observers to meddle in Anambra elections (they dont mean well). While French colonists are currently trying to take over Mali. |

Smh. We're in trouble in Nigeria. We can't feed ourselves, we are not building industries but we're building a so called modern city. Truly we lack visionary leadership. 50 or more years ago when China was at the level of or below the level of Nigeria in terms of development, were their leaders building modern cities? 1 Like |

Ilaumoh: Not trying to criticise you o. But your writing could take you very far if you do some proof reading. Or have a proof reader double check your writing. It should be corporate not cooperate. I also noticed in your original post that you said the investment would seat in 120 hectares and then you went in to say that it will cover 1.2million m². Hectares is a unit of measure of area just like m². It would have been best to stick with one, hectares or m². Hectares would have been preferable as you had included it in the subject of your post. Overall it was a mostly excellent write up if one was ignores some of the superfluous parts. Keep it up bro 1 Like |

It looks promising They should let us know the cost of building there when it comes to Chinese or Singapore say what you want but whatever they build will stand think of their village shops around the world. Half the price but the product works. |
