I know your blind to the truth. Your still asking me to give you what i already presented. Book of Hebrews no be part of God's word? Jesus Christ was not of the tribe of Levi and so could not have been among the Old Covenant High Priests, this as set by God Himself! undecided Jesus and Levi priests who is more greater? Or you don't accept the book of Hebrew as God words? So, the question to answer is this, did Jesus Christ come as God to fulfill the Law or did He come as a man/Jew to fulfill that Covenant, much like other Jews would. He came as the Messiah and brought a New perfect covenant that's once for all. Read the book of Hebrews from a-z Your ideas are sure from the doctrines of men not from the bible as you claim. MaxInDHouse: Make I open cooler Actions speaks louder than words. The question was or my question was.... Are the religious denominations manufacturers of the Doctrines like love God and love neighbor? You can see the lack of correlation with the answer up there When Jesus said "love God and neighbours" he only summarized over 600 laws given to the Israelites in just one phrase. In reality religious denominations and organisations including yours don't manufacture the doctrine of love of God and neighbour So why was this two laws extended up to over 600? Well it's to help figure out lawless men in their society back then but since many Jews have gone to John the baptist to present themselves as willing Jews prepared to live by God's laws without being pestered. Jesus simplified things by giving them a summary of the whole laws! So why does abstaining from blood becomes abstain from primary or major blood fractions? It is to teach your traditions of 8 men and give room for lawless men in your midst. You see how your reason take be? Do I have to find such teachings or doctrines in a religious denominations or organisation? You answered yes you can only find it there because they equally get it from the source you and I know. The Bible. In reality it is not only in a religious organization or denominations you will find it. Do I look like a lawless person or must I submit to the rules of religious organization or denominations before I get called a lawful person? You answered YES, but your reasoning did not tell you a person that decides to voluntary leave the organisation you belong is no longer subjected to your rules and choosing to follow the rules regarding disassociation does not make such person lawless. You added..... Because at baptism a candidate signified with his action that he's prepared to start a new life living by the rules and regulations of the group that baptized him just as baptismal certificates approaching John knows fully well that they're prepared to surrender willingly to all the laws binding on fellow Jews. Matthew 28:18 - 20 says what Jesus taught . Compare it what is the bold. YES! God's word says we must not greet them again {Romans 16:17; 2John 1:10-11} because they've proved to be unfaithful after knowing what is good and vowing to live for the rest of their life in harmony with what they've learned {Ecclesiastes 5:4} their turning makes them worthless from the viewpoint of our Master Lord and King! Luke 9:62 Irrelevant to the question asked. I have answered using God's word as the basis for what i believe. Can you also do the same instead of talking about what i believe? You answered not my question but decide to use God's word to propagate your traditions of men and what you believe as you state clearly. |

Nobody555:Part of God's word, you say? But God's Word, we are told in scripture, refers to the Word out of God's Mouth and Jesus Christ is He. Your Bible is simply a collection of writings which document God's Word, the words of Satan, demons as devils along with the Opinion of men. 1. The book of Hebrews may be a book in your Bible, but I believe the author's work is meant instead as an opinion piece written of God. When God’s law of 2/3 witnesses, which requires that that every truth revealed through men to be established there must be at least 2 or 3 witnesses to same truth, is applied to what is written in it, we find that much of what is stated by the author is not backed by any witnesses in scripture. Instead a good portion of the author's ideas stands in contradiction with the Word of God Himself. 2. The Old Covenant Law/standard never gave to the High Priests, who were men drawn from the tribe of Levi, power to cancel the Law nor render it obsolete and this Law was God's agreement with the people of Israel. Jesus Christ came as a Jew and He lived His life in complete submission to and obedience of the Old Covenant Law of Moses, in much the same way as any man would. He fulfilled the requirements of the Law as God required men to, and this by living without sin (holy), a righteous existence, and going to his death a righteous man. In the future, the very same Jesus Christ will again return to fulfill God's end of the Old Covenant bargain when He will raise the Old Covenant righteous from the grave and grant then the promise of a long life in the land of Canaan. But so far, this part of the fulfillment is still to come. You claim Jesus Christ is greater than the Levites and I ask again by the Old Covenant Standard set by God Himself, how is Jesus Christ greater than the Levites and the other Jews? Why set Him up for us as a High Priest, a title that belongs to the Levites? 3. Recall that Jesus Christ said, again, He did not come to abolish the Old Covenant but to fulfill it. Where in the Old Covenant promise of a New Covenant tells us that the Messiah would cancel the Old Covenant, and explains this "once and for all" of yours? Here's a clue! Stop regurgitating what you have swallowed from what you have read of only in the book of Hebrews, and instead find out where else in scripture the claims made are also to be found. 4. None of what I have said so far is of the doctrines and traditions of men. If you think it to be, be sure to point to it. |

cornelboy:I never said I don't accept the book of Hebrews. I instead don't accept the doctrines and traditions of men which Jesus Christ warned were not of Him - Matthew 15 vs 1 - 14 & Mark 7 vs 1 - 13 . . As I made clear to you what is declared in Hebrew 10 vs 9 - 15 cannot coexist with Jesus Christ's own decree in Matthew 5 vs 17 - 19 - the messages contradict each other. And since my trust is in Jesus Christ, every doctrine and tradition which stands in contradiction to His Word, I reject. But it seems you would rather believe that which is written in Hebrews 10 vs 9 - 15 over that which Jesus Christ proclaimed, yet you avoid the questions that arise as a result of your belief. Why? |

Jeremiah 31:31-32 [31]“The day is coming,” says the lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah. [32]This covenant will not be like the one I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand and brought them out of the land of Egypt. They broke that covenant, though I loved them as a husband loves his wife,” says the lord. You can believe what you want to believe. Didn't Jesus fufill the law by bringing the new covenant? Re: Are Jehovah Witnesses Right About Their Belief Against Blood Transfusion? by Kobojunkie: 12:51pm On Jan 25, 2022 |
cornelboy:1. The Israelites "broke" the Old Covenant repeatedly in the Old Testament, but God never canceled the Covenant as a result. So I am not certain why you reference Jeremiah 31 vs 31 - 34, which speaks of God's promise of New Covenant to come. 2. How exactly does the arrival of the New Contract agreement mean a fulfillment of the Old Contact in this case? Where is it stated in the terms and conditions of the Old Contract that the arrival of a New Contract would imply the Old contract is rendered null and void .I.e. canceled? If the Old Contract is canceled, as you continue to claim, what fate awaits the righteous dead of the Old Covenant, the many who did as God commanded in His Old Covenant? |

But your Rutherford didn't tell in 1921 what was captured in the image below Interesting words for the one and only true RELIGION on earth. I didn't quote from NWT, i quoted from NLV and KJV and NKJV. I didn't intend to argue too but have a fruitful discussion. It's clear that my points are scriptural. I didn't quote no Russell's word. Even if you hold to your believe, i want to drop the idea that JWs are worshiping Satan or they aren't christians and all that. Jesus taught his followers to worship the Father (not Trinity) in spirit and truth. Jesus said his kingdom is not of this world and didn't engage in politics. That's what the JWs do today. They don't join the military too. It's obvious that they strictly follow Christ teachings and are not anti-christian. Also they have the purest form of worship. They don't use images in their worship like some churches do. God warned against using images and all that. "Hear O Israel the lord your God is one!". God almighty is not three persons but one person, men doctrines would make you think so. The Bible aslo teaches that Jesus will return his rulership back to God the Father and Jesus will be subjected to God's rule. God the Father will be all in all. 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 Perhaps you didn't notice that no one knew Jesus untill he came to earth and the Israelites didn't worship Trinity Gods but one singular God YHWH. Also God made Jesus everything he is. He gave him everything he has, the kingdom, name power, authority et al. He empowered Jesus for a purpose, to fulfill His will for the earth. JWs believe that Jesus is a God but not just the Almighty GOD his Father. Acts of the Apostles 2:36 [36]“So let everyone in Israel know for certain that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, to be both Lord and Messiah!” Peace be onto you Rosement: 1 Like |

John 1:1 NLV [1]In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. "The Word was with God" The word is Jesus and he was with God YHWH "..and the Word was God." Here is where the confusion lies. Since an indefinite or definite article is not put before the God, it makes the verse hard to understand. Let me try to put the articles in the phrase: "..and the word was the God" This would have proved Jesus to be the God he was initially with, which will contradict Trinity doctrine that says Jesus and God are distinct persons working as one God. Adding article "the" makes the verse invalid. "..and the word was a God.." Article"a" would make the sentence more meaning and logical. That is; Jesus was in the beginning with God and Jesus was a God. Amen Rosement: |

Definitely criticizing and insulting other religions, even wrongly accusing them is not bad. So you know your a human not an angel He didn't even criticize any body or church, he only said "JWs have the purest form of worship" and that "roman Catholic influenced Christianity of today with their dogmas". And you know yourself that these are facts. But you came shouting "don't criticize bla bla bla" and all you have been doing is criticizing, insulting and giving false accusations. Instead of blindly accusing that they worship Satan and idols, i would rather you bring evidence. Rosement: |
