I was casually having a convo with my babe, and she brought up this issue of some dude renting a shop for his girl, another dude buying iphone for his girl in their dating/courting stage. I'm not against all these. But I outrightly told her im not forking out 600k for any reason to someone I'm "dating" (even if I have the money), that i can only give what i can feel comfortable parting with, whether I see a future with them or not because of my experience with women and what I've heard in respect of this issue. Submitted application to the hotel as a receptionist (was almost sure i would get the job) but they saw my cv, made me manager. The 2nd job (software engineer) is thru a guest that came to lodge, seeing the guy i knew immediately he is software engineer, checked him out on linkedin, i turned out to be correct, b4 he checked out, i approached him, pitched myself to him, he gave me his manager's contact, talked to him, gave me a task ( a shopping cart using react, typescript, tailwind), passed. He gave me a job as a react frontend engineer. Today is my payday, first time im earning from coding after almost 4 years of grinding. Alhamdulillahi...Never give up, Always tell pple what you do.
