It's either you have an unparalleled level of ignorance with tinctures of stupidity or you're just plainly becoming derilious in mischievousness.

If you want to counter a claim, it's wise to do that in such a way that'll not put your intelligence to question. The FG has power to tell Google what it wants even though they can't command Google to share data with them. Yet, Google has to comply with whatever the government says even though Nigerian Government is still a young boy in excercising sovereignty.

Your Nigerian government is not important Oga,

if you travel out you will know that these powerful Western countries sees us like Somalians and Afghanistans.

Google doesn't take orders from any government, definitely not a country as corrupt as Nigeria

Please don't make me laugh this night.

200m people half are illiterates that can't read or write. 120m are living in serious poverty.
The remaining reasonable ones are running away from the country in any given chance.

I can count the amount of people in Kano that can write their name correctly.

When world geopolitics is being discussed, Nigeria is not even mentioned in anywhere.

We have trillions of cubic feet Gas in the South South and South East, the whole world know we have it, However, have you heard any European Union country considering Nigerian gas as options?

Nigeria is in darkness in this 21st century. Ain't we ashamed of ourselves?
Oga hide yourself, Nigeria is not important
like I said earlier, your problem is Inferiority complex. I think it's not just that but ignorance is also a huge part of it. Norway have huge gas reserve and it's closer to European countries, have you heard anyone mentioned anything about them? What of USA, Canada Algeria, Egypt and Turkmenistan you think they don't have gas reserves?
Can Nigeria connect pipelines to Europe to supply them gas? Nigeria produce 1.2m barrels per day, that's fairly respectable.

Because people in the North don't speak English doesn't mean they are illiterate. Northerners speak Hausa, even in school. On Facebook they speak Hausa same as Twitter. You don't really know much.

So if FG 'close' their shops now, what will happen to the money the loan apps have borrowed people? Will FG compensate them? Or they will bear the brunt of the dearth of restitution?

In as much as I don't like the excesses of the loan apps, I also don't like creating unnecessary hardship for people. FG can't just cripple their business like that.

Why were they operating without registering with the authority? They've been operating illegally so they should be ready to bear the brunt, you don't build something on nothing and expect it to stand.

Very funny, Nigeria can't even connect pipelines from Imo State to Lagos.

Is West Africa Gas pipeline not collapsed?

Ghana a more serious country now supply Gas to francophone countries in ECOWAS. That should have been Nigeria had it been we stop corruption and stealing of public funds.

Norway have both Oil and Gas, but they have gone 95% electric cars and are begging others to join them. This is a serious country.

You really don't know how callous these have been to borrowers. Be you a loyal customer of 101 times of non default, these people will mess you up if you default when owing them 2k.

If there were not overly critical at customers, they would not HV been noticed in the first place.

Nigerian government can surely ban them. It's very easy. There are lots of app that available in other countries that aren't available in Nigeria. All FG needs do is them to remove the apps.

The FG should also come down hard on banks like Kudabank
Kuda is licensed and uses a micro-finance bank license approved and issued by the CBN. Funds are insured by the NDIC. I believe the article is referring to most of the Chinese loan apps with one million names who are in the business of either threatening or labelling loan defaulters criminals and doxxing them in the process.

Some of the Indigenous loan apps operate on a micro finance license since they do not have the requirement needed to use a conventional bank license.

Any country that doesn't think education is important can not be taken seriously.

Population filled with illiterates is useless. 21st century Nigerian children are still studying under a tree cos the money to build classroom has vanished into thin air

you just want to badmouth Nigeria that's all. Why don't you leave to Cameroon or Ghana?
Tens of thousands of graduates get churned out of schools yearly in Nigeria. Our problem is not education. Nigerians are well educated. Our only problem is the economic system of government which does not align with the psyche of the average Nigerian. An average Nigerian want to be employed by the government, students who leave schools pray for employment the only thing that can solve our problem is socialism. Since everyone wants to be employed by the government why not just hand everything over to the government and let them run it? That will never happen because the West will sabotage it just like they do everywhere else.

They are two different things. That is a breach of the Apple product since privacy issues are big deal to them. What the loan apps do also violates user policy in the worst possible way.

They will be taken off of those stores. Their operations are already barred in the country and it would be worse for them to go after defaulters like they used to, that is if at all they remain adamant.

The consequences of operating illegal online loan system is worst than crippling their dubious business.
I learn that many people are trapped into their dubiously excessive interest loan schemes.
