1. Join a hefty Cooperative Organisation. The money is only for capital projects
2. Show her ALL your income: in fact, give her the ATM of the remaining.
3. From the remaining, give both yourselves some pocket money. The rest belong to your family.

I know of a friend who is using his wife's account as salary account and up till date there is no issues. There are also women that must not know what you have otherwise they will make sure it finish before allowing you to rest.( That does not mean they are bad anyway )

In abroad, both partners contribute to take care of bills at home but that's not the case in Africa where the man has to shoulder every financial responsibility. He takes care of bills at home, parents and also contribute to the woman's home.
