Benin City is the worst capital in Nigeria. A great empire of old, capital of old Bendel state! All modern infrastructure are situated in only 2 places! Airport road and Sapele road! That's all! Warri is even more developed than Benin!

The only reason for your opinion is because you are from Abia, whose capital is competing with Lokoja.
Abia is the only state I've every passed through its state house and it's having a very very bad road, I gave up when I heard the govt house is rented.

With help of Google maps you can explore various cities across the country and see how they compare in terms of roads and infrastructural developments. Many of the cities in the North are well spaced out with relative good road networks .Some cities in the south are fairly okay but many are awfully congested.The south west have many old school buildings ,typical of Yoruba cities. I appreciate Amosun for opening up my city Abeokuta with some few nice roads. Akwa Ibom has well developed infrastructure. Abia needs to work on their poor road network and city congestion.
