Keyamo and his principal should be smart enough to understand that the 2023 presidential election was a "Town hall" (Ball game) different from the inferential 1999 and other presidential ballots that preceded this year's!
Here is an election wherein for the first time in contemporary history of Nigeria's democracy, the polls pooled by a combination of the 'opposition' overwhelmed that of the winner! At about 14 million as against 8million; if I were Tinubu, I should be worried for the future of my government.
The simple implication of this statistics is that whether the courts ratify Tinubu's win or not, the figures against him in spirit and in truth may be initially and perhaps, verily difficult to buy-in as was bought-in the forces that fudged him in!
I'm still bemused by Tinubu and his party's arrogance and aloofness to the stark fact that those against him are indeed more than those with him... How he would navigate through these tides of negation especially in the face of the sustained disaffection his party as the incumbent ruling party, has courted from popular spheres across the country beats me!
Again, if I were Tinubu (but luckily I'm not... not as dumb), I'd use this short period of preparation for transition to frantically move to curry at least a 50% support and cooperation of the opposition. I'll go to them with the negotiation table on my head...
