So you agree that a faction of the election wasn’t free and fair?
Can you explain ‘misinformation’ to me ?

There was a rumour that Peter Obi won Plateau State with a million votes. As at the time many of his supporters were celebrating the "heresay" victory, the results of Plateau State were not completely collated. Though he won Plateau State, the total votes he received was less than half of a million. Till today, a large percentage of his supporters argue that he won Plateau State with a million votes 😂. There's no proof on IREV or anywhere to back the claim.

Channels Tv made a mistake while reporting the results of Bauchi Local Government Area of Bauchi State. They deleted their Tweet. The genuine result that conforms with what was returned by INEC and the IREV platform is there on all reputable media platforms. Obi's supporters still rely on the screenshot of Channels Tv mistake to claim that Obi was rigged out in Bauchi State.

These are just two of the major misinformation that have been proliferated and spread by Obi's supporters.

Now, everyone is writing a letter.
Now i see the reason for all those letter writing lessons even to the college.
Trouble for those who didn't attend English class, or probably wasn't paying attention in the class.

Noise pollution everywhere in the country because of a young lady's letter.

Does it worth all this attention?

Probably no or yes. But to me, the manner to which everyone is jumping to pen down their tribute, spells out there's something wrong somewhere.

Let's wait, watch and see the end to all this madness.

[quote author=muhammaduyusufu post=122363384]Part 1:

Dear Chimamanda, what beautiful nonsense you just penned!

It was a portrayal of angst by an unrepentant tribal bigot trying assiduously to whip up sentiments by appealing to the American public!

As much as you try to discredit the electoral victory won by Tinubu, you and your co-travellers will not succeed. Lobbying for cancellation of the election or howling jeremiads on the streets of Washington D.C by attempting to be a back-alley abortionist of people's will and currying international support will all amount to an exercise in futility.

You and your ilk have caused so many problems in Nigeria that you should be ashamed of what you just wrote. In 1993, it was one hellish scoundrel called Arthur Nzeribe who quickly formed ABN to brazenly scuttle and torpedo the freest election conducted in Nigeria then. This time around, your are in the fray to do the same, treading the famished, inglorious, perfidious, labyrinthine, serpentine, deathful and dastardly pathways that Arthur Nzeribe once trod with a mission to set Nigeria ablaze again. You will not succeed in your devious enterprise.

Your tribal and fillial appendage with Gregory Peter Obi is well understood as blood will ever be thicker than water, but for you to pen a nonsensical gibberish with the sole aim of overriding the victory of Mr Tinubu, it is too pedestrian, disingenuous, malevolent, irresponsible and condescending. Your overrated candidate came a distant third in that contest and the earlier you realize that, the better for you. Your Obiscopic lenses through which you narrowly, myopically and parochially viewed the election would soon break into minute useless shards with banal hues. If you know so much about politics, why not put your hat into the ring? You just have whittled down whatever miniscule respect some people may have had for you thus far and many would start seeing an inveterate ethnic champion in you, henceforth.

Ever heard of force majeur? Why didn't you read the account of why INEC jettisoned the initial plan of real-time transmission of the results? Why are you more catholic than the Pope? Why are you belittling, insulting, assailing and assaulting our intelligence, sensitivities and sensibilities through your invective-riddled submission to President Biden unconscionably? By trying to pen repetitive allegory and obfuscate the whole process, you are nothing but a dangerous, uncharitable, over-venerated specie giving a tacit support to an unruly chauvinist brigade hellbent on pulling down the country just because one trading fellow with unscholarly English and dirty past did not win. You hobnobbed with like minds given to depravity to concoct lies as gallop polls in the run-up to that exercise so as to browbeat some undiscerning minds into a transparent subterfuge ---believing that your candidate would win.

It was in the public domain that your kith and kin tried all manners of dirty tricks through hacking to rig in your candidate so that you would later shout hurrah, the election result followed the pattern of your doctored gallop polls which you had bored us with ab initio. Online activism does not win elections. Somebody failed woefully to appeal to a huge segment of the population in the entire north and won only within his enclave, and rather than see this as a true reflection of the people's will, you busied yourself throwing incendiary adjectives all over America to carpet everybody in Nigeria so as to throw away the baby with the bath water as if we were still a colony of the West. The earlier you borrow yourself some sense the better.

You and your people want to emasculate everybody and plunge this nation into another blitzkrieg of unimaginable proportion, you will not succeeed this time around. Working in cahoots with some strange bedfellows or with those of same toxic and cacophonous cerebral to, yet again, annul that election is an invitation to anarchy.

boda is our family good, how will she take an honour when Nigerians are hungry, people been killed on daily basis and kidnapped, Economy down ,Nurses and Doctor leaving our country in mass etc and you want her to receive honour

And how did rejecting a national honor resolve all that problem, patriotism 1st, our anthem says Nigeria call OBEY, Teni showed she was not happy with the situation of the country but she still honored the invitation

There is no justification for rejecting the country you love invitation, 2023 is not the 1st election Nigeria ever held where was chimamanda all along But a Igbo man contested suddenly she found her voice, she wants to switch from literature to activism cheesy like seriously 😆

What i find irritating the most is how igbos are alway calling on FIFA,US e.t.c can someone please educate that tribe what a sovereign state means, what can Joe biden do ?? cane Tinubu or buhari 🤭 when will they start calling Russia make those ones send nuclear bomb cheesy very funny people

Naturally, ignoring you would have been the best but it won't be right to leave you in your ignorance. most sane Nigerians resisted tinubu because he is too old and senile. Also there is a drug case on his head period. Igbos voted for Abiola and also supported Obasanjo but I guess your hatred won't make you see that.
Why not leave the Igbos who have never carried arms against you and face the fulanis who are killing, maiming are ransacking Ur villages and sending some of your to Benin Republic

You carried gun against me during Igbo Coup in 1966, you killed my leaders e.g Akintola and even the only Yoruba that supported your coup. Igbo didn't vote Abiola, you voted Abiola and still went ahead to remove him? Obasanjo is not our choice, we voted against him nd you supported him. You should keep shut when talking about drug, you people are known for drug trafficking. You want to scatter our people by telling Oyedepo to divide us along religion lines.

Kai!!!!! He finished this charlatan of an IPOB masquerading as a literary pillar. She is the type of educated Nigerian I despise...educated and supposedly exposed but still fundamentally tribal, Educated and supposedly well lettered but using her talents for her tribal pararochial or woke views. Chiamanda is the type of educated easterner that no matter the education and exposure will never get over the civil war...the irony is she wasn't around and all her views are based on lies and propaganda.

She is pretender, I figured her out years ago when she wrote her book and I knew the bigotry in her will consume her and one day she will expose herself and in the process rubbish all her accomplishments.

the problem with bigotry and tribalism is that eventually you make a fool of yourself even amongst your professional peers and those who once respected you. Just like the respected former NBA president who for tribal reasons has now taken leave of the intellect that earned him a SAN and the position of NBA president a assert in a public media such a ridiculous assertion that you need 25% of FCT to become president. Even a baby lawyer knows all citizens are equal so no citizen can have a vote more powerful than another, talk less a SAN and former NBA president!!! Its the same way the celebrated Chinua Achebe made a fool of himself and damaged his previously stellar reputation just before he died.

The bigotry and tribal sentiment will eat up the best of the Ibos if they are not careful. When you are so driven by emotion eventually you make a fool of yourself because you cannot think objectively and the only people you appeal to are those equally emotional or thinking, the univested, the rational, the objective just look at you thinking "oh my God, what a trainwreck, how could you make such a fool of yourself"!!
You're a sound mind intellectually

There are levels to these things, International media published one in simple grammar, author's name is globally available and searchable.

unknown and poor ranked blogs published the other, Author is described as herbalist when searched. herbalist not a bad thing in this context.

one said she would have accepted the result if technology supported it as was promised, the other just spewed complicated words that drained the meaning of his letter tilting it to defense of tribe and sentiments.

One resides in the developed world, aligning with kings and the other resides in Lokoja under the worst governor ever in Nigeria and angling to get into the circle of politicians for morsel of bread.

The writer is known for her writing, the Dr or Herbalist is not known for medicine - Nigeria's unemployment is massive

Sophisticated and indispensable

History dey, Go n verify
just listen to yourself. Please, let other people judge the matter. I don’t want anyone to answer because by your type of sophistication, everyone of you would definitely deny being a Yoruba, just to rig it or tell another lie. Thanks .

In a developed clime like Lagos, sacrifices are still being dropped by your people at every junction. It was in home movies I use to see it until I came to Lagos. Sophistication abi ?

Leadership was the type a certain brother of yours without a definite source of income, held an entire state ransom and was humiliated in the state he claims to lead. The part 2 of it was thuggery, ethnic suppression and oppression, brigandage , bribery and discrimination in 21st century. Leadership , planning and actualisation abi ?

Your thought process goes along that line. You despise Igbos, USA, Israel etc. and love Donald Trump
I hope you don't switch to insults, just wanted you to realise how it's easy to know you by your thought process as it's shapen by religion.

You can despise all those groups and/or countries, but let Ur reasoning be logical.

For instance Chimamanda's write up was logical, sensible and in simple terms, the Doctor's own was vaguely laced with insults and unnecessary words, I don't care abt the contents as they both write from a place of personal bias.

You quickly align to one because it appeals to Ur religious and ethnic sentiments without seeing the error in both.
