I laughed in greek, Nigeria of 2013, not today. Roofing alone is close to or more than 2 million depending on the square meter. The casement window with imported and not even tower material plus the main doors to the house is more than a million. The number of blocks depending on the size of the building, which I will cost using the smallest 3 bedroom size of 4000 blocks sharp sand not stone dust at 350...1.4 million. Double truck tipper sharp sand is now 55-60k, if not granite. Plastering sand in the same range, cement, woods and mainly finishing cost which is more expensive than block setting. Oga budget 13-14 million. If you are serious, and beware of the 6 million proposal, it will end in regret.

what is the size of the building you want to build with 2000 blocks. The smallest 3 bed 12 by 12 room will take 4000 blocks. Talkess of what I saw there.

The one I'm working on at the moment is up to lintel level and it has gulped 3100 blocks. Four bedrooms with 6 coaches at the rear (foundation level) and doubled at the rear up to four coaches to provide additional support.
And we have ordered additional 600 blocks to be used after lintel. Making it 3700 blocks, don't even know if it will be enough. Septic tank blocks not included, that one gulped about 320 nine inch blocks. Dimensions 10x10x9.

BTW: I wasn't the one who mentioned 2000 blocks. Go and check again

11 m can't building the house if you want to use original materials unless if you want use inferior materials

It all depends on your choice of finishes, situation of the land and the location of the site. But one thing is very certain, 11m will go a long way

The house should be a three/ four bedroom bungalow.

The roof alone could cost 4m with the setbacks designs to make it beautiful

Block work maybe up to 2m or more ( you will need 2500blocks at least with a 9 inch block going for 350 to 400 naira)

Cement of about 70 bags for foundation, shocking blocks and lintel. You will need another about 70 bags for plastering. A bag of cement should N4850 or so

You need about 15 to 20 length of 12mm iron rod for lintel and the pillars. I believe a length should be 4 to 5k now

You will need to pay Labourer Bricklayer, Welder and carpenter.

That is just the start not the finishing which cost a lot.

We still have

Artwork design, Plumbing, Electric work and fittings, tiling, doors, windows and burglary, painting etc.

When you talk about 5m, 6m... I don't understand.. . Are you talking about thr roofing, or parapet... only parapet and roofing will gulp up to five million... we have not talked about the three stages of conduit wiring or tiles fittings flooring.. you should be looking at around 15 to to 20m..

will u fence ur compound, will u do flooring. Because fencing, painting of fence and flooring for compound alone will gulp 5m or over depending on taste.

Will you do borehole, borehole in ota will be about 1m-1.5m

Will you do parapet, budget 600k-700k for this. Except you want to go for aluminium parapet

Will you do soak away or biodegester. Budget 700k for soak away or 400k- 500k for biodigester.

Pop nko. Budget about 1.3m-1.5m

Doors nko. Budget about 500k for 10 inner doors. Front and backyard security door budget bout 220k for local door. Or 500k for good Turkish door for the two.
