Dont fault your sisters for doing what is right. STONES help scrub away the dead skins from feet. EVERYONE regardless of where you live, gets these dead skins. It is absolutely normal, to all races.

(Yes, lift your feet up, there it is, disgusting, right? but hey, its never too late to start).

I can only hope that you have a pumice stone or something similar to scrub your feet with, since EVERYONE (Naija or no Naija) has dead skin or calluses at their heels and other parts of their feet. Natural stones work best, but if you dont have that, you can always use the artificial ones (my experience though, is that they suck. Get yourself a nice piece of rock, those work best).  That is just one example of how some things that are natural to us, are better than some man-made ones.
