While Asari remains a controversial person I must point our people to the fact that if hostilities were to break out, those denying being Igbo will be the first casualties.

Hear this man now in this delicate moment subtly sending signals that Ikwerre and the rest of them are Igbos.

You won't get it till it's too late.

They Igbo speaking part of rivers state have been controling the affairs of rivers state since 1999

I thought 2023, would have been the turn of a true ijaw man, wike did his thing an handed over to another Igbo speaking governor from opobo (king jajas place)
The ijaws kicked against it initially, but fubara that can't even say
Hi or come in ijaw, automatically claimed he is ijaw
So they voted him
Wike on his own part
Made sure he surrounded fubara with people from other igbo speaking part of rivers, from the deputy governor to the end

It is not hidden but Rivers State was created on basis of minority therefore each tribe is given full ethnic recognition to avoid dominance from the larger ones hence Kalabari, Ikwerre, Etche, Eleme, Ogoni, Okrika, Ibani, Opobo, Ogba, Ndoni, Ekpeye, Egbema, Igbo(Asa + Ndoki), Abua, Andoni etc. are distinct ethnic groups recognized by the Nigerian constitution.

Exactly they point, all of them claimed to be distinct ethnic groups
Hence the keep rotating power from one Igbo speaking group to another Igbo speaking group,

This is what amaechi was fighting against,
When will an ogoni man ever test power? Andoni and kalabari people nkor?

Old Rivers state was created for minorities. In 1996, Abacha carved Bayelsa specifically for Ijaws. All those claiming Ijaw in Rivers state ought to have joined Bayelsa in 1996 as the military government then asked all Ijaws to indicate themselves and join Bayelsa. They all denied being Ijaw then. Now we cannot drink water and drop cup. Bayelsa people especially are just instigating problem in Rivers state.

Mind you, Igboid group and Ogonis opted for Port Harcourt state, devoid of Riverine people, instead Abacha granted Bayelsa for Ijaws. Kalabari and other Riverine people now in Rivers state refused. I don't know why they are ranting unnecessarily.

Bayelsa is just 8LGA, let the Ijaws of Rivers State join them there and make them 17LGAs. Just make boundary adjustment and everyone will be Okay.

The truth is that most minority sub tribe can't be seen as an ethnic group. When I went to rivers state I didn't see the difference from them and other Igbo state. Average rivers indegene can speak Igbo dialect.

The fact is that rivers uperland is more related to Imo than even Anambra/Imo relationship, only the appearance or stature of an Ikwere, Imo and abia can confirm. Some Anambrians and Enugu indegenes are more related to Igala than their relationship with Abia/Imo. In general, Igbos are diverse, but are united with a common language.

Those few misguided Ikwere indigenes think by denying their Igboness, they will be accepted. They forgot those that sold their brothers to please their neighbours will.not be trusted by their neighbours

which appearance as in what? There's no difference in appearance between any Igbo man, I can't understand where stature and appearance is coming from. Dialect is only what can differentiate the part of Igbo you are not stature. The ikweres dialect is similar to abia and imo.

Oga you have not been to every part of Igbo. Have you been to Ebony State, Ebonians even look similar with Benue people than Abia/Imo counterparts.

Have you been to Anambra North? For example people from Nzam, Anam E.t.c have more things in common with Idoko of Kogi state.

Have you been to Enugu state? Some part of Nsuka in Enugu have more things in common with neighboring Kogi towns than Owerri people.

Forget, we're united with the general Igbo language but are still diverse. It is still the same everywhere

Tribes in middle belt/south have links

Being created from Imo doesn't mean that they are more closer. If you meet some people from ebonyi, you won't even know that they're Igbo via their appearance.

Some part of Anambra North are more closer to Igala than fellow Anambra South even in appearance.

How on earth does sinach, tekno, humble Smith e.t.c take resemble David Mark, or uromi

Ebonyi IMO Abia and rivers state igbos look alike alot, you can hardly know the difference when hope uzodinma and wike is speaking there dialect!

The both calls other igbos isoma

On the other hand there's no difference between onistha man and his asaba brother, the same culture food etc!
The only resemblance is with the few Igbo indeginous communities in kogi
And those igbos that were wrongful added to Benue instead of Enugu

Yeah
They greatest look alike is IMO/rivers/ Abia
You will hardly know the difference
Have you seen wike and hope uzodinma speaking Igbo (you will almost think, they are from the same community)

Anambra/detla igbo is very very difficult to differentiate

But there's is a heavily contrasts between IMO and Anambra people, they don't even look alike at all

You are right about this
Very well

Rivers igbos, IMO and Abia
Has little or no difference

I wonder while every local government in rivers is considered a different tribe,
Except ikwerres that has 4
They should all join together and form one bloc
Like Anioma people

The people you call Rivers Igbos that is Ikwerre, Etche, Ndoki and Asa look like Imo groups of Oratta, Okpala, Ohaji and Ngor then Abia groups of Ngwa, Ndoki and Asa.

Ogba,Egbema,Ndoni and Ekpahia of Rivers State look like Oguta and Egbema of Imo State.

Those groups that look alike do share actual kinship beyond ethnicity.
