The truth is that most minority sub tribe can't be seen as an ethnic group. When I went to rivers state I didn't see the difference from them and other Igbo state. Average rivers indegene can speak Igbo dialect.

The fact is that rivers uperland is more related to Imo than even Anambra/Imo relationship, only the appearance or stature of an Ikwere, Imo and abia can confirm.
