Okoroawusa: Buhari has never disappointed me.I knew it is going to be like this even before I voted him. I knew where we were coming from.Buhari is not a magician. Most of us r talking like Nigeria's problem started with Buhari. PDP ruled for 16 years to put us in this mess,so I will evaluate Buhari after 5 years. If you know how e dey pain me say the Baba came TOO EARLY. Nigerians are way too LACKING in FORESIGHT. They NEEDED to be PUNISHED for THEIR COMPLACENCY. Nigerians should have been made to experience what happened to America in 1929. So that they will NEVER EVER MADE THE MISTAKE THEY MADE IN 1999. I have NEVER cast a single vote for PDP, because all I see is a STRONG HOLD. How can I stand in the sun to protest and suffer all kinds of humiliations in the hands of military government, only for me to end up voting for the same people by proxy?. Those former military men are my issues with PDP, they are still there, manipulating and playing everyone like a yo-yo. How many military men are in APC. Let's have the list compare to PDP. If APC had NOT PRESENT A Buhari, will they have won?, this is the corner in which Nigerians have boxed themselves. So we are only voting for the lesser evil until a better alternative present itself. |

Abogwara: That of Mbaka isn't true just like Soyinka. Having differences in opinion doesn't mean abandonment. The only person I agree has left the ship is Atiku and he did so for selfish reasons. Don't spoil the thread na. So you don't know that these MOURNERS are the worst hit by this government?. I can't remember benefitting any thing from the previous government except FEW like a friend who almost lost a limb to the immigration recruitment scam and we actually had to contribute money for his treatment. Another one also got scammed by special government task force, infact the guy was made to pay for his uniform, boots and all. He was also made to pay bribe of 100k and he said some people even played more, he recently gave the uniform to a beggar. My brother who had to abandon his high paying job in Abuja having escaped those bombing twice. And loads of petrol and maintenance costs of my 3 power generators. People making NOISE up and down to bring PDP back are their former beneficiaries, tribalist who found themselves out of the corridors of power. The other groups are those with short memories , those who have already mismanaged their lives, ordinary citizens who have high hopes of the government but just don't understand how things work, this are the people I sympathise with. Religious bigots who had been brain washed TO BELIEVE that only a member of their faith MUST LEAD. I HAVE NO ISSUES WITH ANY OF THESE GROUPS OF PEOPLE, as long as they won't be at the polling booth to stop me from voting FOR WHAT I BELIEVED IS BENEFICIAL TO ME. |

Paul Unongo is not really someone I admire for all his previous anti-Yoruba rhetorics but it's good that he himself is seeing the effect of always siding with Fulani's against southerners on every national issue. At least, he has now realised that Yoruba's and southerners are not the real enemies of his people. The people he and Sen. Waku have been defending all their lives are the real enemies within and it's time to face them squarely. We are truly in an AUSPICIOUS time, Unongo of all people?. Buhari hasn't increased electricity, and he isn't building power plants, what happened to all the one built by PDP,power plants that weren't connected to gas plants, why build more power plants when he can construct gas pipelines and have more electricity.
Buhari hasn't provided employment, jeez I was in these country when a dude collected 1000 naira and had Young unemployed Nigerians dying in stadia all over the country.

Why una dey cry up and down self?, day don break abi?. Way back 1998, all the the military powers in Nigeria, REACTIVATED THE FORMER NPN AND NAMED IT PDP, as a way of maintaining their stronghold on this country. We in the west here having just survived their brutality refused to vote PDP because we knew the powers BEHIND THAT PARTY, the greedy lots in the east and the magas in the middle belts gathered their votes and returned the power to the military aka PDP. If not Bola Ige that fell into a tribal web of some useless Yoruba elders in AD " alliance for democracy ", and agreed to serve under OBJ as minister for power, for which he got killed anyway, PDP would NEVER have been able to win an ORDINARY CHANCELLORSHIP ELECTION IN THE YORUBA LAND. MrMaestro: It is from this comment that I got a new light on him and his wisdom. If you don't understand the position Nigeria plays for Black people and the prosperity of the African race at this point in time, then you're not paying attention. Largest economy, largest black population, largest gdp. We should be tackling issues facing black people around the world that doesn't have anyone to fight for them (like haiti). Instead we can't even get our act together. When France forced black Haiti to pay billions of dollars for their freedom or face war, Nigeria should've been the one to step in, protect, and fight with the haittians. But instead we were busy being corrupt, selfish, and ignorant of the things going on in this world, and THAT is the reason why Black people in US and all over the world continue to get disrespected! Do you think white people could kill Chinese people in their countries and not have the might of China fall on their head? Black people are disprespected because we have no strength, because we refuse to stand together due to selfishness. Until this changes, things will remain the same. Have you heard of the CRAB MENTALITY SYNDROME?. Black men are not supposed to LIVE as countries, Africa needs to revert to the old land marks of Kingdoms and empires. Way back, people fear their kings, the laws, the customs and traditions of these societies. Check what is going on today? all kinds of freedom and we are bleeped. |

Switruth: INFORMATION FOR FARMERS!!
You don't need to fight fulani herdsmen. Just combine and spray the following chemicals on your farm: Atrazine, Chlorpyrifos, Metolachlor,
And leave the rest for the gods.
This chemicals are classified most dangerous farm chemical for pest, insect and weed control. Spray the chemicals on stem and leaves, you can combine them for effective output. Any cow that eats your crops dies. No veterinary doctor can save such cow.
Any herdsman who graze his cow on your farm is a wicked persons and his cows deserves to die. If you believe what is going on is related to cows and farms, you are on your own. Cows and other animals can be prevented from entering your farm, by littering the borders of your farm with a specie of yam called GUDUGUDU. Gudugudu is a lethal poison, cut and spread it around and the herder will weep. This is what the people of Ilorin normally used to protect their farms. |

I had a terrible experience way back in Kano in 1999. The issue of two Hausa prostitute who got killed by oro cult, the crisis that follows which led to the deaths of Hausa people in Sagamu, and the shoddy manner in which the police handled the matter, was the reason so many Yoruba relocate to their various home states from Kano. Some boys wearing a funny white and green uniform moved from Faggae mosque to KURNA, BACHIRAWA, ANGUA YORUBAWA, HAUSAWA QUATERS AND HOST OF OTHER PLACES WHERE YORUBA PEOPLE ARE CONCENTRATED. They killed and maimed, babies, pregnant women and old were not spared, fellow Muslims worshiping in the same mosques with them were not spared. The reason for the attack were 30 dead bodies brought INTO the mosque on FRIDAY, WHEN MALOS WHERE STILL PRAYING, THIS IS THE TRIGGER THAT THE ENEMIES OF OBJ'S GOVERNMENT NEEDED TO INCITE HAUSA/FULANI AGAINST HIM. Yes, what's going on is evil and should be condemned by all, but Yoruba are not a nanny. We are all in it together. Benue and the rest of middle belt have governors and reps that are mute and not doing enough to distance themselves from Hausa and Fulani, So what exactly are you asking Yoruba who have obviously spoken more than all other tribes combined on matters that do not concern them in Nigeria to do again? I have never heard anyone say, we all should make a Yoruba president of Nigeria because they are the smartest but when it comes to who can take bullets, you then remember how intelligent Yoruba are.
