nwoke37: So from 2020, the U.S. would stop providing aid? Seems like by 2020 plans were made for Nigeria to be a more developed, advanced nation. Sadly, this might not be the case. Nigeria could have been a developed nation years back, just look at Nigeria’s mates. Truth is, Nigeria doesn’t need the aid. Nigeria’s problem is not money but the mismanagement of money.
A country that saw vast amounts of money coming in the 1980s couldn’t invest in electricity, road, and rail. Yet stated that they didn’t know how to spend the money. Well we see how they spent that money today...
Nigeria needs a revolution! According to the world Bank report, Nigeria LOST about $600 billions to rogues in government in the last 20 years. But some IDIOTS expect everything to be normal after Buhari's 3 years government. When the world Bank said that NIGERIAN economy is an abnormal one our people were angry, the TRUTH is that even Nigerians are not normal. |

But just mention Tinubu you'll begin to hear all manner of insults especially from those who don't live in Lagos.
The architect of modern Lagos is Tinubu who has also found the best hands to see it become a reality.
I often say, had we had a different type of leader, Lagos would have been no better than Delta state of today.
We would not have realised it could be much better because that's all we've known.
I salute Ambode who has stamped a name of success on the map of Lagos after a Fashola who was just as competent.

The question I keep asking THOSE noise makers is, NA TODAY FULANI AND HIM COWS ENTER NIGERIA?. Now their lies are being exposed, one fellow said it on this site that some evil minded citizens of this country are blackmailing the president because he is of the FULANI tribe, that they are infact stealing the Fulani cows, killing the Fulanis, killing the unsuspecting people of the middle belt and still wailing uncontrollably on the social media. Buhari has not failed. He has done well with the low oil price. Economic indices are going up.
Savings and investments are far higher than what they were in 2014. Bank deposits and profit are far higher than they have ever been. The stock market capitalizaton is sky high.
Total yearly air passengers last year was higher than 2014. Higher than any year in history except 2013. It is an indication that the economy has so much improved. 2017 was the turn around.
Forming a group of posters, commentators and likers of commentaries against the President on nairaland doesn’t represent the opinion of the rest of us.

Politics › Re: Buhari Still Enjoys Tremendous Support from 75% of Northerners Despite Failure by 7lives: 8:05am On Feb 06, 2018 |
QuotaSystem: Tell that to the scores of Farmers and their families in Kebbi and other northern states who have become millionaires for the first time due to Buhari's focus on Agriculture, particularly rice farming.
Tell that to the thousands of civil servants that can now comfortably commute from Kaduna to Abuja daily by rail for less than a thousand Naira.
Tell that to the millions of NE citizens that can now sleep with both eyes closed without the fear of BH taking over their towns, and Kanemi FC that have resumed playing at the Maiduguri stadium after years of shutdown due to terrorist activities in Maiduguri. Y'all are just blind to political realities.
We are northerners, we are the largest voting bloc, and we stand firmly with Buhari till 2023. They thought everyone is lazy like them, before white collar jobs, our fathers were farmers. They WAIL because they don't have Jobs, unfortunately most textile production companies that employ en mass had all shut down since 10 years ago, because of unfair competition from textiles dumping by USELESS importers. Sometimes truly, simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication. Nigerians are now even wailing from abroad because the host nations are tired of our lack of decorum. |

Politics › Re: "Relocate To Kano" - Ganduje To Fulani Herdsmen by 7lives: 10:49am On Feb 05, 2018 |
Afrojuju2017: I've read from accredited sources that Kano have a very effective system in place set up by Kwankwaso which Ganduje has expanded on. The cattle have their travel route which does not cross any farms and anyone who breaks the rules is dealt with severely Not only do they have travel routes, cows and Fulanis have a language of communication so it is just not possible for cows to stray or misbehave like destroying people's farm. This is why you see a small girl of 8 years managing and controlling 20, some times 30 cows. I did my youth service in the North, this is how I knew all these. God bless Ganduje for this decision, let more Northern States follow, so that we can KNOW what NEXT the workers of iniquities among our politicians will UNLEASH on Nigerians, in order to blame Buhari. |
Politics › Re: "Relocate To Kano" - Ganduje To Fulani Herdsmen by 7lives: 10:31am On Feb 05, 2018 |
Physicist: Fulani can own business in the south. In fact Northerners control more of the federal government revenue generating businesses such as Custom, Immigration, Nigeria Ports Authority in the south than southerners do. Northerners own businesses in the south. If the Fulani herdsmen are not destroying farms, are not raping women, are not maiming, are not killing and are not claiming other people’s land belong to Fulani, no one will ask Fulani herdsmen to leave.
Aliko Dangote (the richest black man in the world), has his business headquarter in the south. He is currently building a very big refinery in the South. No one is asking Dangote and other law abiding northerners to leave the south or not to have business or houses in the south.
Fulani herdsmen have problems with people everywhere they go. All the way from Ghana to Nigeria, Fulani herdsmen are problems. Fulani herdsmen fight with almost every other ethnic group in Nigeria.
What will be the reactions and response of Fulani herdsmen and Fulani in general if Southerners residing in the North start killing Fulani, raping Fulani women and girls and maiming Fulani in the North? You will agree with me that Southerners living in the North will not try to commit such atrocities that Fulani herdsmen are committing in other people’s land. Really? A Kogi woman told me just yesterday that those killers are not herdsmen. She said they are still in her village as we are talking so who are these killers?, their sponsors shall soon be exposed. |
