you are quite right.i thought i was the only one that saw this. This was the Plan from over a week ago.when they saw through the game on ground. They had agreed to wait till the last minute.Mind you the resources being spent as of last week was greatly reduced, while that of the others increased. They wanted a solid reason to get the VP or leave. This is what the others dont understand. The South east cant get the VP ticket with these. Fayose was also aware of these whole Game. The South west was never keen on being the chairman.Their Target had always being the VP.They understand what it Means. They control the party structure in their state.Mind Kashmu's suspension was all part of the Plan.Go through Bode's George Statement you will have a new understanding of what is on ground. They know Nobody can defeat APC in 2019.I repeat No body. They know Atiku is Dead on Arrival. They Know The Yoruba's and The Core North will define the Presidential race in 2019.

Because they lost some states in the middle belt and of voter apathy in the Southeast. Again don't forget, the difference between PDP and APC in 2015 was around 2million votes. Had the south east voted like they did in 2011, that alone would have bridged the difference...the southwest is not as relevant as they think of themselves, especially when people know they are never totally loyal despite all their assurances and always having divided votes unlike the North, southeast and southsouth that give block voting
97% votes in south east for PDP is what you described as voter APATHY? grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin.

This why many politicians hate Buhari and APC.
Buhari does not share money to party officials in a country where politics is seen as a means to personal financial gain.

It is the same reason many national figures who supported Buhari in 2015 are today being lukewarm . Even the ministers don't have access to free cash the way it was under PDP. Some of the ministers are feeling they are ministers under someone that doesn't give them enough leeway to steal with impunity. Only calculated stealing which is limited is only possible.

The same reason many are looking for Atiku. These people don't care about the future. They want a party and President who will use all resources available to make people enjoy today and let 2moro take care of itself. A leader who does not agree with the principle of enjoy today is considered wicked

Buhari is doing the right thing in a wrong country . Even though I agree Buhari is slow in his style, his conservative nature in how public fund is spent is what we need for now to reformat our brain about politics and money.
Don't worry bro, that 2019 election will be Buhari and ordinary citizens vs the evil men of this country.
I was surprised when people that i never believed could support Buhari are saying '' only a thief or an ignorant person will vote against Buhari, its true things are hard, but we also know how it happened. ''

The main reason he's fanatically loved and supported is simply because of his uprightness and lack of interest to amass wealth.
Only people like Tafawa Balewa and Sardauna lived a better and principled life.
Buhari closely follows their footsteps. Comparing him to our present day elites and leaders, he's miles ahead of them in terms of gaskiya (trustworthyness) and that earns him to be symbolically referred to as it's custodian, popularly called Mai-Gaskiya.
His seldom support for Shari'ah has nothing to do with it.
IBB gave Islam more support compared to any other leader, yet he isn't loved half PMB's love.
Thank you God bless you.

I agree in totality with the submission and conclusion of Dr. Kperogi. The support for Buhari in the North is far more than just political support. Atiku is a very rich and popular politician but he doesn't command the kind of heroic support that Buhari enjoys. The calculation of Atikus camp is to win bloc votes from the south and share the votes from north central. Very faulty assumptions as Buhari will win significantly in north central and south west historically doesn't even vote en bloc. If they will start in 2015, it wont be in favour of an Atiku/igbo vp against Bubari/OsinbJo. Atiku stands no chance in 2019!
Bitter truth.
Buhari reminds me of Ayatollah Komeini, the late shah of Iran.
People like these are difficult to beat, their followers will not back down even in the face of death.
To be honest only death can stop Buhari from ruling beyond 2019, I don't see PDP weathering the 2019 storm.

plusfield:
Okupe is very right on this but most yorubas on this forum are too myopic to see it. If the yorubas fail to clinch the national chairmanship of pdp, they should not blame anybody but themselves.
How can the other five geopolitical zones be begging one zone to discuss among themselves and come up with one candidate and yet, they refuse. Strangers are now begging brothers to reconcile.

Also, okupe is right that the yoruba race have never got it right politically. Am happy he stated it here for the present indomie generation who feel like political masters, that Obasanjo in 1999 to 2007 was president without the input of yorubas. Yorubas actually backed Olu Falae of AD/APP alliance but the south east, south south and North central rallied behind obj whom his people rejected.
How ironic, those who are always getting it right have been wailing marginalization and underdevelopment till now.
Meanwhile those who are always getting it wrong, who just recently got it right are the same sets of people or are they not the same people?.
Let me tell you what you don't know about our people, our people are not interested in any party, they are looking for leaders they can trust with their lives, where ever these leadere are, our people will follow.
Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are, Bode George and his fellow Yoruba PDP members are not our leaders, did we not speak in 2015? , they are on their own.
Yoruba are looking for people who can better their lives, the question is what has PDP contribute to the lives of the people they govern.
This is a question that's been begging for an answer since 1999 or you think our people have short memories?
Shebi they sat their sorry ass down and pretend all is well, when Goodluck was rubbishing Yoruba people.
Did Yoruba people not answer Goodluck in 2015?.
I keep saying it and will continue to repeat it, that no God fearing Yoruba man will have anything to do with PDP.
All the good people that I know, who are involved with PDP have all left since 2012, let Bode George and co be given shabby treatment, " they deserve it ".

Why Igbo's want Atiku...

1, He will restructure Nigeria
2, Kill all Fulani herdsmen
3, Sack all Yoruba's in federal civil service and replace them with ibos
4, Build 5 international airports and seaports in the five south east States.
5, Seal up Lagos airport and seaport to spite the Yoruba's and allow the IBO's to catch up
6, Appoint Nnamdi kanu as governor of Lagos state
7, Conduct a referendum that will eventually lead to the creation of the utopian state of Biafra.

Now tell me, why will ipobs not Atikulate? Atiku is the new opium of our ipob friends. grin grin
And yeah, Atiku is not a real Hausa Fulani so he doesn't fall into the category of born to rule northerners that ibos campaigned against just in 2015.

Christianity Etc › Re: Tithing Is Not Compulsory - D.K Olukoya by 7lives: 4:48pm On Dec 03, 2017
An2elect2:
Hehehehe Christians shouldn't tithe at all.

"Tithing isnt compulsory" is like saying "The law isn't compulsory" Law is law for a reason. If you are under a law you must abide by it and in some cases to the letter. There is no "if you like" with the law. You break it you face punishment. That's why Christ came to free us from not only the punishment but also from the demands of the law.

Before now. The truth was: CHRISTIANS ARE NOT TO TITHE BUT GIVE WHATEVER THEY ARE WILLING TO GIVE

Lying ministers shouted the exact opposite of the truth from their pulpits: TITHING IS COMPULSORY AND OFFENDERS ARE INCURRING GOD'S WRATH

Then a man came to challenge them with the bible. He won a lot of people over

Proud lying ministers couldnt take it and got worse in preaching the opposite of the truth. They were no longer convincing.
So shy lying ministers (the devil's second try to keep people enslaved) like this come forward for the first time ever(what have they been doing since?) to "challenge" the obvious lie with subtle lie or is it a levelling ground lie saying: TITHING IS NOT COMPULSORY.

Who is the devil trying to swindle with this lie? When did a law become not compulsory?

Christians shouldn't tithe we have been freed from the law.

Andre Faley was right all along, in his book CHURCH WITH OUT RELIGION, he said old things have passed away.
We are now in the NEW COVENANT, that anyone subjecting him or herself to the old testament laws is doing so out of ignorance.
He said God knows that' it is not possible, for man to succeed in keeping all the laws without breaking one.
He said failure to keep one has destroyed the efforts put into keeping the others.
He said it was for this purpose that Christ came, to shed his blood as sacrifice, to save mankind from the yoke of sin, emanating from the inability of man to keep the law.
