PoliticsRe: Tinubu Considering ‘Temporary Subsidy’ On Petrol by 7lives: 10:27pm On Aug 15, 2023

I will be very disappointed in Tinubu if this is true. He clearly didn't think this through.

There is no difference between a temporary subsidy and subsidy.
My pain is those who will smuuggle the fuel out are lurking in the shadow.
Some of them are reading as I'm typing this.
The problem of this country is not just corruption, selfishness, greed, chop and quench should be added.

Have you heard of state capture before? The fulanis have your so called nation in a vice like grip! Instead of opening up their lands for the exploitation of their abundant solid minerals, they will rather invite western vampire firms to surreptitiously mine these minerals under the cover of boko haram and Banditry activities.........we know the game!

As for Tinubu, his battle for legitimacy seems to be driving his policies! many of which are contradictory.........He devalued the naira by allowing it to float but at the same time you pour more naira ( 500 billion palliative)into a system already awash with trillions of naira that clueless buhari borrowed ! Trust our corrupt Politicians they have cornered a huge chunk of the palliatives and as usual they all want to change their loot into forex for onward transfer to dubai .London etc Inflation is in full bloom now .........temporary subsidy will never bring the prices down again!
You mean Fulani are holding you down?.
I give up, as a man thinketh, so he is in his heart.

Most of them don't know Jack.

The venezuelan currencies are so useless, a man in this pix is making artworks with the money.
Transactions are done in dollars, the currency has lost value.
The earlier Nigerians wake up, the better, that there's no more free lunch.
It's about time people do away with all their excess loads, if not, na dat loads go kill them.
Nigerians don't bother about the future, the future is here, the future is here to settle scores, with those who have no regards for the future.

Interesting that he is now ready to dialogue. The sanctions have been very effective.
Sanctions wey never begin work, the fool needs to make a phone call, to Maduro the president of Venezuela, or probably pay him a visit.
Maduro will be in better position to educate him on the meaning of sanctions.
This is what sanctions did to Venezuela, an oil rich country.
The man in the picture is using venezuelan currencies to make artwork, that how worthless the currency had become.

Why not let a sovereign Niger determine the course of of its own people the same way we all let their few currupt elites plunged them into poverty & misery without interference? It might be more productive to focus on addressing the significant issue of corruption that has plagued your own nation/Africa for decades. Who assigned the role of democracy's overseer to you, especially when challenges of self-sufficiency exist?

The readiness of Blackman to collaborate with white colonialists to the detriment of their fellow Black individuals remains puzzling.
Similar to the slavery era, when ruling classes manipulated the vulnerable to capture and sell their own kind, the current scenario involves resistance from a brother nation seeking freedom from exploitation by corrupt elites.
This conflict arises as the majority suffers in poverty. If democracy fails to help them, perhaps it's not the solution.

In Nigeria, I've personally witnessed people compelled to vote for a candidate in exchange for a meager 2k due to their dire circumstances. In impoverished countries, democracy can appear as a scheme of the corrupt elites, utilizing hunger and poverty to control the masses. undecided
Ever heard of Angola and guys called Jonas Savinbi?, and Eduardo Dos Santos?.
Just because of power tussle, go and see what the two men did to Angola.
For your information, half of the men in that country are crippled, due to endless guerilla war.
This is precisely how the cookie crumble, just imagine the outstead PM decided to slug it out with the military, and gathered his own fighters, in order to reclaim the power.
Do you think he won't get support from his brothers?, that PM is an Arab.
When the poo finally hits the fan, the already impoverished citizens suffer more calamities and Nigeria gets to accept more refugee.
Prevention is better than cure.
Shalom.

Yorubas are the ones that has refused to build any bridge with the Igbos that is the fact. 2015, 2019 and 2023 elections proves me right. how can the Igbo build bridge with people that want them dead and burns their hard earned properties every election period?

What did our parents do that led to massacre, civil war, mass starvation and marginalizetion?
Lies and propaganda is your trademark the OP is right.
Yorubas don't want to build any bridge with you folks, how difficult is this for you guys to understand?.

Having worked and lived in both regions, I can categorically and factually tell you that most Southern Nigerians are Heartless, Selfish, Immoral, and despicably Avaricious.

Remove terrorism and this political spate of insecurity, most Southern Nigerian guys would have relocated en masse to the core North.

The truth is gradually coming out.
In a country with high unemployment rate, Dangote employed 11,500 Indians, why not Nigerians?. Nigerians are business looters.
Common poultry, they will steal poultry feeds and drugs, eggs, and even the chickens.
They will eventually begin to gradually disassemble the chicken cages, one after the other, they will sell this to scrap buyers.

The average northerner is more productive than their southern counterpart and so can afford to sell same product or service lower.

Most of those bike riders also have farms and that reduces the pressure on them to charge too high. They also know moderate increase in price help keep patronage level.

Have you ever seen a leopard change it’s spot before?.
Their forefathers lied to them about the history of Nigeria and the civil war.
They know their region is responsible for all the mess Nigeria is today, but Shame will never allow them to speak the truth.
That’s why they resort in blaming everyone for their woes, some of them don’t know who drew the first blood in the war.
Who initiated power to be at center and refused to allow cessation clause?, all their problem is Hausa Fulani.
One question I ask them which they fail to answer is, if the federal government fails you, and you blame it on ethnicity.
What about your state governor who’s your tribe , senators, house of assembly members and local government chairmen, who you share the same ancestry with?.
why are they failing you?. also because if they ain’t falling, their region would’ve been like Dubai.
But guess what it’s rather their community populace that plays the role of the government in their region in terms of development, you can ask them if it’s a lie.
it’s never too late to start saying the truth that’s when Nigeria can move forward.
Sorry bro, I had to adjust this comment a little.
You explained everything in detail.
Kudos.

Give them 100% of the oil & gas receipts, they will just be bigger Failures.
This is precisely why I support regionalism, under this arrangement, no one will cry marginalization again.
I would have prefer a total disolution of this country.
So that we can actually sit down and chart the way forward.

If a person as stained as you all portray Tinubu could defeat two non-stained candidates, defeat APC cabal, defeat Buhari opposition....who is Atiku, or far much less a Obi in the scheme of things?

Oh by the way, is Tinubu able to stand on his own now, no longer needing support to prop him up? Is Tinubu still making gaffes on the microphone? Is Baba shaky shaky now steady and healthy? grin.

I thought as much. Nothing new. Atiku did not sue him. He only asked the court to give an order for CSU to release details. Now I ask again if he has nothing to hide why bother? Again if the school releases the details and indeed Tinubu was the one who attended wouldn’t that be a big plus to his case?
Oya try to answer. I know defending Tinubu involves setting aside common sense so you’ll avoid my questions and answer something which I didn’t ask. Prove me wrong 😁😁😁
You mean I can just go to your school to ask for your result?.
See from my own point of view, Tinubu's result is in that school, but did Atiku asked for Tinubu' s permission,?.
Did Tinubu authorize the school to release his result to Atiku?.
Or is Tinubu working for Atiku, Atiku probably checking on his employee?.
Court should give an order, all this rubbish shows just how daft Atiku is, I don't believe Atiku did this and if he actually did, he has only succeeded in embarrassing himself.
Americans don't play with privacy, even the school will not be spared from serious litigations.
