My conclusion. All these was staged by the guy in question to dump her without guilt (and a extricate himself from any blame. The lady in question was pestering the guy for marriage and he was probably okay with the way the relationship is. She wanted to get pregnant to rope him in. She's desperate.

Now, back to the guy, he's a gentleman and probably don't want to be seen as a heartbreaker. He likes her, but I don't think he wants to marry her.
