If LVG managed the team after Sir Alex and served us this nonsense, he would have been sacked a long time ago. Both came into the job at completely different times. The bar was very high for Moyes while it was nonexistent for LVG. In their first year as manager, Moyes finished 7th with 64points while LVG finished 4th with 70points

in other to truly rate the two of them, you have to judge each case separately without comparison. consideration must be given to the resources, reputation, time on the job and players at each manager's disposal.

What you are not acknowledging is that these players are playing to a given instruction. Why did all our new players start in blistering form only to drop once they started assimilating the philosophy. Right now United is hell for most of them. No one will play well when a coach sits on the bench, jotting every single mistake they make on the pitch. Our players are all caged dogs and anyone that gets a time off such as this would be glad... Why do i suspect our injuries

We were already losing our fear factor under SAF in his last season. I am not for Moyes, but some facts need to be pointed out.

Was it not at Old Trafford Everton came from 2-4 to draw 4-4? That was a must win match to guarantee our title that season even if we lost subsequently to City at Ethihad.

We lost to Blackburn 3-2
We drew Basel
We drew Newcastle
Lost to City 6-1

Before a team that came to United just come to surrender, then defend all through to see how to reduce goals to concede. Maximum of one game lost at Old Trafford in a season. From 2011/2012 teams started believing they could beat us at Old Trafford until Paul Scholes was recalled from retirement. Paul Scholes retirement also affected Moyes. Players like Scholes come once in a while .

It would have been easier to calm down if our managers reputation didn't precede him. It would be easier to calm down if we saw our team trying hard but things just kept going bad.. Think Chelsea... Do they slag their coach? It would be easy to calm down if we didn't spend that much for Thursday night football and drab draws in the league like draws are running out of stock. I always tell ppl who want to remind us all the time that we should calm down, it's a phase with its up and downs to understand that Manchester United with all its riches should never become an AC milan.. We have too much money to throw around but with the wrong manager we might find ourselves in such state. LVG isn't the man to take us forward. He has met all the club required and shouldn't spoil the work he has done further. He took us to 4th,brought us to Europe, made Old Trafford a fortress again... Hell even gave our youngsters more chances than i can remember Fergie doing, but it's time to move on. At his age, he should be with his wife and enjoying life after achieving so much on the pitch and in his head.
