What is the way forward for PC users

Please i subscribed for the bis monthly plan and tried to use it on PC with d normal modem setting (web, web, blackberry.net, *99#) but d stuff aint working when i connect it. It hasn't worked for two days now since i subscribed. Any clues?

use it a vpn proxy like, gatewayvpn, or pdproxy it will work but it's no more unlimited

Things are tight nw. BIS capped and other subscriptions are not smiling. This is downtime. Mtn don give all of us uppercut. I wish multilinks is ok in my hood.

3gb. Be it their daily plan, weekly plan or monthly plan.

I'm afraid, without DroidVpn or other compatible VPNs, your BIS plan is of no use.

Pls WE need more light on airtel 4GB plan for 1500. Wat kind of sims does it work for? and whats d code. tankz

all that i know as of present is VPN softwares make MTN BIS works. else you are On Your Own. but the challenge is the data Cap. cos i use my bis download with Pd proxy after some gigs, i experience disconnecting every two minutes when i connected. but when i use a newly subscribed sim, i am connected again. so so i guess there is fair use data policy.

This tutorial would enable you use your MTN BIS + GatewayVPN.com on your Android Device to browse unlimited even if your device is not rooted.
Start by creating an access point on your android phone with the APN : blackberry.net.

And getting a premium account on http://gatewayvpn.com if you don't already have one.

Secondly download the Gatewayvpn config at http://gatewayvpn.com/downloads.php

Simply open your Android Store/Market and search and download "Feat VPN"

N.B. Feat VPN is not a VPN, its simply a tunnel which you can use to upload other vpn config in other words its like open vpn

After downloading it, please download our config file. At this stage you are 75% done.

HOW TO CONFIG FEAT VPN TO USE GatewayVPN CONFIGURATION FILE AND BROWSE UNLIMITEDLY

Open feat vpn, then click setup, once you click setup, it starts show some setup in progress, activating tcp etc. There is no need to wait just click Stop and Exit that screen. (You don't need to wait for the setup to complete) go back there. Now click on the menu name "Tunnels" and select "Add". after clicking tunnels and selecting add, the first place is asking the name of the config, name it anyting or call it "Gateway VPN"

The next place says load config. Like load and locate the config you downloaded from us and select it. After this, just press the back key on your phone. Now select tunnels again, you should see the config you just created. Simply click on it and it would start connecting, along the line it would pop up a box asking for your username and password.

Once it connects you are good to go.
