PoliticsRe: Biafra, See The Five States That Will Not Join. by 989900B: 9:41pm On May 21, 2016
Eze2000:
My good friend have u ever heard of d Onitsha seaports? The River Niger goes deep into biafra and the half of Delta and Rivers which are Igbo speaking all border the Niger.
Of course the Biafrans will suffer a bit as the Nigerian navy will most likely blockade the Niger Delta to deny them access to the sea but the problem is pretty simple to end. They will go and promise some free crude oil to countries like Norway, Finland, Germany, Britain or even France and then the new Biafran Navy will get some of the latest destroyers and battleships. They'll waste little to blow the Nigerian Navy clean out d water in one single day.

Never mess with an Igbo man determined to make a profit
You should write a comic.
PoliticsRe: Is It Fair For Britain To Still Be Taking 40% Of Nigeria's Crude Oil Revenue? by 989900B: 9:40pm On May 21, 2016
Sctests:
[s]The Imperialist British have ZERO resources but use their house niggars in the colonies and ex-colonies to control the resources there.
That's why they always recognise those ex-colonies the way they left it anytime the liberators and seccesionists wants to change geo-political map of ex-colonies.

Go and read the book- Biafra: Britain's shame by Auberon Waugh a journalist who was on ground and about wrote for The spectator, a British tabloid. He document the evil that Britain represented in Biafra and the British government engineered his sack from his job.
Him and his pro-Biafran colleagues took it up and won damages for unfair dismissal.

His book on British evil in Biafra was even banned from being sold for sometime. That book cannot be SHIPPED to Nigeria as we speak.

In the eyes of the British, Nigeria still remains the Royal Niger Company-their war booty, (Today, even the US cannot interfere in Nigeria matters without British consent) and the British sponsored the war against Biafrans so that companies like shell can have 40% of your resources while their good hausa and fulani house niggars take the rest. mrvitalis:
That's the right way to go, the government should not bow to any group or persons (this what Jonathan reduced us to), the government is above any group of person and that's final

That being said I think power generation should be localised to reduce all this things and for the short time solutions, power generation companies should build gas reservoirs capable of carrying them for a month... This will reduce the effects of the bombings
On the long run we should review the gas master plan as there are to much loophole on the escravours route, the enugu and aba routes are OK
Gas should be networked only to feed companies capable of generating there own power for them selfs and there environments (light up 10000 homes and pay 50% less tax)
While coal, nuclear and hydro should be our main energy sources ( after the 12000 capacity we have now are optimised, I know with $20bn
We can build and transmit 20,000 mw from 2-4 coal plants in enugu and Kogi, hydro can give us double of that up north
The south West is the only problem cos the south south can still produce 20,000mw from gas (but it's very expensive) , so the West must use nuclear power
This my humble opinion
The gas between Lagos and Ondo can conveniently power half the country for the next 100 years!

WeNigerDelta:
[s]You guys are so ignorant, that you come here and spill trash. When exactly did the military stop invading our communities? During GEJ's regime, and that was reduced militarization. There is nothing your likes, the Nigerian govt or the IOC can threaten us with that we haven't seen already. From 1997-2002/03, the city of Warri was militarized, checkpoints every 0.5miles how many things did that stop?
This is not ethnic clash, the only offensive we know will come, is from the cowardly NA that all they are taught is bully. They have done this since Saro Wiwa's time, the militants have not hurt one Niger Deltan....

fulanmafia, kindly tell the Gbaramatu chief, that we are no longer fighting for peanuts. We want to control our own wealth, not the pittance contractor jobs that Chevron dishes out as compensations. We want our people to be at the top echelons of IOCs, not yorubas and people from other regions. We want to control our own oil wells, and hear of Niger Delta oil billionaires, like its in Texas, Russia, UAE and every sane society.

This is the youths fight for the future of our children, about what kind of country will they live in. Our fathers like this chief failed us, their cowardice is the reason we are here. Instead of raising us to fight a common enemy, we were brought up to fight each other. They failed and as such no one will listen to them anymore.[/s]
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Are Not Suffering Under Buhari, They Are Lucky - Femi Adesina by 989900B: 2:24pm On May 21, 2016

Some of his responses are very valid, but he is not very good at presenting his points in a sensible way.

Only a f00l will want his domain to be turned into a rendezvous for a bloody conflict. The people of Syria, Lebanon, NE of Nigeria, Iraq, Libya all know better, I hope the NDeltans don't learn the hard way.

EazyMoh:
This is the clarification most of us are looking for.
Sara Luka was a student of GSS Chibok, she went home together with the rest of the students when the schools were closed due to insecurity except for SS3 students writing WAEC who were kept at GSS Chibok. Unfortunately she was also kidnapped at her village of Madagali about the same dates when her seniors were kidnapped at her school.
Lalasticlala pls let those who truly care about the plight of these poor girls get these information.
As for the heartless wailers, go and die!
Understandably. Some people just like making a mountain out of a molehill.

Dumb comparison!

Check minimum wage.

Use official exchange rate.

How many of them use 'gen' to survive.

How many of them do not have a working train and bus network?

How many of them are oil producing countries without working refineries?

ATEOTD, there are still many countries where fuel is cheaper than 9ja even.

Dollyak:
Are you telling me agencies in Nigeria are not easily compromised I.e Census body, Nigerian Army, Efcc etc? Don't be too cocky, I will rather read in between the lines.
DPR cannot name an oil block belonging to Dollyak for example, as belonging to 989900 or Modath.

These are more sensitive than land allocation.

Stella Oduah, Bayelsa state gov't, Diezani via Kola Aluko, Jim Ovia, Sanusi's Ado, Elumelu, Otedola, Tinubu Wale for Tinubu Bola, Emeka Anyaoku, McPepple, Albert Esiri, and many of these folks y'all know, own oil blocks.
PoliticsRe: Ita Enang Reveals Oil Blocks Owned By Northerners (2013 news) by 989900B: 10:55am On May 20, 2016
Dollyak:
There are many agencies giving conflicting informations. Anyways, I will rather believe a potentially more informed senator than an organisation subject to compromise. At least he is putting his reputation on the line and I expect the northerners to debunk this allegation if it isn't true.
Agencies giving conflicting info? Yes . . . actually that has to do more with the press.

A senator over DPR? No . . . actually that will be hilarious.

PoliticsRe: Northerners Own 80% Of Oil Blocks by 989900B: 8:00am On May 20, 2016
False! Big Lie!

Old lie that've been proved to be mere delusion/fantasy.

Nigerians currently own 52 per cent of the country’s 173 active oil blocs, while foreign oil companies own 48 per cent. He added that of the total of 388 oil blocks in the country, only 173 of them have been awarded to individuals and corporations, while 215 blocks were yet to be awarded. Broken further, of the 173 so far awarded, Nigerians owned 90 blocks while foreigners owned 83 blocks.

He, however, lamented that all the 90 blocks awarded to indigenous players account for only six per cent of the country’s total crude oil production, while the 83 awarded to foreign oil companies account for 94 per cent of the total output. Steering the hornets’ nest The Chairman, Senate Committee on Business and Rules, Senator Ita Enang, a forth night ago steered the hornets’ nest, when he alleged that 83 percent of Nigeria’s oil blocks were in the control of the northern region.

This led to a series of claims and counter claims by various groups in the different geographical regions in the country, including activists and non-governmental organisations, NGOs. Many even called for a review of oil block awards.

Even newspapers (not Vanguard) went agog with their own versions of the real oil block owners. However, DPR’s recent pronouncements on the issue that Nigerians own 80 oil bocks where foreigners had 83 have nullified every other previous pronouncements on the controversial oil blocks ownership, including the list of 77 oil blocks and their owners recently published by one of the dailies. Analysts are of the view that to end the controversy, the DPR should go a step further to publish the full list of the 173 oil blocks so far awarded, indicating who owned what, whether local or foreign.

On the night of 14–15 April 2014, a group of militants attacked the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Nigeria. They broke into the school, pretending to be guards,[18] telling the girls to get out and come with them.[19] A large number of students were taken away in trucks, possibly into the Konduga area of the Sambisa Forest where Boko Haram were known to have fortified camps.[19] Houses in Chibok were also burned down in the incident.[16] The school had been closed for four weeks prior to the attack due to the deteriorating security situation, but students from multiple schools had been called in to take final exams in physics.[16][20][21]

There were 530 students from multiple villages registered for the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination, although it is unclear how many were in attendance at the time of the attack.[22] The children were aged 16 to 18 and were in their final year of school.[23] Initial reports said 85 students had been kidnapped in the attack. Over the 19–20 April weekend, the military released a statement that said more than 100 of 129 kidnapped girls had been freed. However, the statement was retracted, and on 21 April, parents said 234 girls were missing.[13] A number of the students escaped the kidnappers in two groups.[24] According to the police, approximately 276 children were taken in the attack, of whom 53 had escaped as of 2 May.[22] Other reports said that 329 girls were kidnapped, 53 had escaped and 276 were still missing.[21][25][26]
The above is consistent with developing stories where info/intel can be fluid and erratic = no one can place a specific handle on reported facts and figures, until the storm calmed down and parents with lost kids can be identified interrogated and documented.

In essence, successfully matching any found 'Chibok girl' with the reported data of lost girls kidnapped at Chibok on that fateful night = Bingo!
DNA testing can further buttress accuracy.

“During the operations, the troops killed 35 Boko Haram terrorists and recovered several arms and ammunitions and other items. In addition, they rescued 97 women and children held captives by the Boko Haram terrorists.

“We are glad to state that among those rescued is a girl believed to be one of the Chibok Government Secondary School girls that were abducted on 14th April 2014 by the Boko Haram terrorists.

“She added that there other three girls who fled from Shettima Aboh when the troops invaded the area earlier today which led to their rescue. She is presently receiving medical attention at the medical facility of Abogo Largema Cantonment, Biu, Borno State.”
Over a thousand people have been rescued so far from BH's captivity, mostly women and children, how is the accidental rescue of 2 of the 'Chibok girls' a 'biggie', especially when the girls have been reportedly married off and split in groups? God gave y'all a brain for a reason, use it. angry
