Nigeria's secret police, the SSS, has invited fiery Lagos Pastor Tunde Bakare to explain the content of his Sunday sermon asking President Goodluck Jonathan to resign from office.
Pastor Bakare was invited to meet with the State director of the SSS at its Shangisha offices in a Lagos suburb for a 4 PM meeting.
The fiery Lagos pastor and political activist yesterday delivered a damning sermon titled: "How To Change Government Peacefully And Make Society Better".

The pastor leads the Save Nigeria Group (SNG) which has had the government in an uncomfortable stare-down in recent times. In December 2010, the group visited President Jonathan in Abuja in connection with its advocacy of certain public policies.
On its way out of the presidential villa, the group was handed a $50,000 bribe, which it refused. The embarrassed government explained that the money was not a bribe, but “transport fare.”
Pastor Bakare eventually ran for vice-president on the ticket of the Congress for Progressive Change. As pastor or political activist, he has always strongly criticized anti-people policies.

nigeria has oil thieves (the cabals), we also have boko haram and their sponsors, we have kidnappers and corrupt politicians here and there. jonathan no see any of these guys arrest, na person wey preach the word of God. Joe shld ask Ohakim the former gov of Imo state how it was fighting with ordained men of God.

this guy is a joke. Along with his SNG. They are not interested AT ALL in "saving Nigeria". You want to line your pockets so what better way to do it than to take advantage of the current widespread opposition to Jonathan's style of rule. CLASSIC dictatorial tactic. take advtange of the nationalistic feeling and use it to your advantage. Only difference us that this time hopefully our people aren't as stupid as the Germans were in 1933, or the Libyans were in the 1980s or the Egyptians were.

also this has NOTHING to do with freedom of speech. Anybody will know that freedom os speech has its limits. I can't go to the front of the presidential Villa and say that I will bomb the villa in two weeks and walk out of there free.

Tunde Bakare was not really a good lawyer, he crossed over to Church Business, and uses name of God for propaganda.
Tunde Bakare said OBJ is evil and prophesied the death of President OBJ in office.
He called Yaradua dull man, and even hated him in death, and said GEJ is the Messiah, he went ahead align with Buhari and contest against the same man he called "Messiah" "God sent", pass forward 2yrs later. He is prophesying Coupe and assassinations of both President GEJ and Vice. He is on record as the greatest fake prophet in Nigeria. Shame on you PASTOR Bakare. Really a man of God.

Is high time someone talked sense into Tunde Bakare. If he has any problem to settle with GEJ, he shouldn't hide under religion while throwing his missiles. This is a shame!The house of God should be separated from politics of bitterness in-toto. Is high time he come to term with his lost from the last election. Rubbish!

These Politicians go to churches to woo supporters by pledging they will do this and do that when in office.

They go to church to seek "religious guidance" from pastors, so they can do well.

Every other word out of their mouth is God this, God that, pray this, pray that.

They use the support of Pastors to prop themselves up

A pastor criticizes them and suddenly it is Do not mix Religion and Politics.

I may not know what "Not mixing religion and politics" means but I do know what HYPOCRITE means.
